Rejected contestant Ian Benardo doesn’t have a prayer of getting $300 million from the show, though he recently filed a lawsuit asking for this staggering sum. We’re pretty sure Benardo has filed suit more for publicity than for money…so we’re going to give it to him.

If you don’t know who Ian Benardo is, it’s probably because you didn’t watch the spectacular which aired in May. Benardo turned an otherwise average stage show into a circus when he ripped the microphone out of the hands of comedian Dane Cook and proceeded to scream out his agenda to the masses.

During a recent Simpsons panel discussion at Comic-Con, showrunner Al Jean announced that the cast of will appear during an upcoming episode of the show. The exact cast members who’ll be involved - including cheer coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) - have not yet been announced.

The upcoming season of will feature a number of notables such as Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg and ‘60s icons Cheech and Chong.

Comic-Con visitors at the Simpsons session also viewed a preview of October’s “Treehouse of Horror” episode, which features killer board games.

is America’s longest-running sitcom and the country’s longest-running animated program. The historic 22nd season will air Sunday nights on FOX.

Barack Obama on The View

This Thursday’s broadcast of will mark two significant returns: the return of President Barack Obama and the (brief) return of Barbara Walters.

Although Obama has chatted with the ladies before, he hasn’t visited the program since March 2008 - when he was just a U.S. senator. Meanwhile, Walters - who is still taking time off to recover from her heart surgery - will make a special appearance for the event.

The hour is not only a coup for the The View, but for daytime television overall. This is the first time a sitting president has guested on a daytime talk show.

Yes - Debbie Gibson supposedly plays a “fanatical animal rights advocate” in Mega Python vs. Gatoroid. And yes - Tiffany was cast an “over-zealous park ranger.” But drawn-out catfights and ridiculous animal attacks - not realism - are what we watch Syfy movies for.

Eric RobertsUPDATE: According to Eric and his wife, the actor is seeking treatment for marijuana addiction.

Eric Roberts, older brother to Hollywood A-lister Julia Roberts, has joined the cast of . Reports have surfaced that the actor, 54, has moved into the Pasadena Recovery Center where the show is filmed.

It’s not known what Eric, who was arrested in 1987 for possession of cocaine, is currently getting help for. Roberts’ rehab roomie, , calls him “an incredible person.”

Roberts, in addition to being Julia’s brother, is the father of Emma Roberts, 19, who starred in Nancy Drew among other films.

His film credits include The Dark Knight and Witless Protection. He can also be seen next month in with Sylvester Stallone.
