Sarah Michelle Gellar Too Old for ‘Buffy’ Movie

Sarah Michelle Gellar thinks she's too old to star in a Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie.
The 36-year-old actress, who played teen heroine Buffy Summers in the sci-fi TV series between 1997 and 2003, doesn't foresee her classic TV show spawning a movie spin-off like Veronica Mars as she worries she wouldn't be able to pull off the daring martial arts stunts now she's older.
"I'm a little old now. I feel like Buffy would have a wooden stake walker. I'm not quite sure how that would work," she said.
The Crazy Ones star also admits she has her reservations about a big-screen adaptation of the series as Buffy originally started out as a critically panned, camp 1992 horror movie starring Kristy Swanson. Buffy was [already] a movie. See, I think people forget that. Buffy was a movie first, and I don't know if you guys know this, but it didn't really work! I see you laughing at me over there, but it kind of didn't work. We spent our whole first year or two apologizing for the movie. So, I think it would be an incredibly different pressure," she explained.

VIDEO: Watch the Latest ‘Veronica Mars’ Trailer
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, WB, Features, Internet, Video,
Behold, Veronica Mars fans - the latest trailer for the Kickstarter-funded film is online.
Naturally, the trailer/quasi-featurette poses the burning question the series left us with: Logan or Piz? The consensus among the cast is clearly Team Logan (who in my mind is always like the Spike to Veronica's Buffy), although do you find yourself rooting for good guy Piz? The trailer also gave us a peek at some of the returning guest stars like Ken Marino (Wanderlust), Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad), and Max Greenfield (New Girl).
Look out for the film to hit theaters next Spring!

Katie Holmes Keen for ‘Dawson’s Creek’ Reunion
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Drama, WB, Gossip,
Katie Holmes would consider a Dawson's Creek reunion.
The 33-year-old actress thinks it would be fun to get back together with the cast of the hit teen drama - James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams and Joshua Jackson - to film a brand new series where the gang go on holiday together.
"I love everyone from the show and we have kind of talked about it here and there, but what do you do? Michelle's character passed away... Our last episode, we were already five years older. Maybe we'll go on vacation, that will be fun--and just film it!" she said when speaking on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
The popular show ran from 1998 until 2003 and afforded Katie her break-out role. The brunette beauty is currently making a return to acting and juggling rehearsals for Broadway play Dead Accounts with looking after six-year-old daughter Suri. Discussing her new project, where she plays an Ohio woman who still lives with her parents whose brother comes home after "doing something really wrong," she said, "It's a comedy, but there's a lot of heavy themes."

Michelle Williams Wants a Dawson’s Creek Reunion

Michelle Williams wants to star in a Dawson's Creek reunion.
The 31-year-old actress played Jen Lindley in the teen drama - which was broadcast from 1998 to 2003 - and she would "very happily" reprise her role again, although she admits it would have to be as a ghost or in a series of flashbacks after her alter-ego died in the series.
"I would very happily do a reunion show, I don't know what it would be. My character died in the end, so there are certain limitations for me. It's either I come back as a ghost or I'm shot through a lot of gauzy, hazy light as my nineteen-year-old self," she said at Comic-Con.
Michelle believes a Dawson's Creek reunion would be a great way to "honor" the show - which followed four friends, Dawson Leery (James Van Der Beek), Joey Potter (Katie Holmes), Pacey Witter (Joshua Jackson) and Jen in the fictional seaside town of Capeside, Massachusetts - for both its stars and fans: "I've always said that I would really love to and I think independently, we've all been saying that. So at some point I hope that it does happen [as] ... a way to honor the past and what a big deal it was for the four or five of us and what a big deal it was for the people who watched it."

Michelle Williams would be ''totally'' up for a Dawson's Creek reunion.
The Oscar-nominated actress claims she would love to reprise her role as Jen Lindley in the teen drama which ran from 1998-2003, and believes lead star James Van Der Beek should call her up to ask her.
"[James] has my email. He has my phone, and my cell phone, so we talk. He could totally ask! I've always said I'm totally up for reunion tours, reunion shows, so we can do that!" she said.
Michelle - who has six-year-old daughter Matilda - is not the only star of the show who has expressed an interest in returning to the series; Katie Holmes, who played Joey Potter in the drama, admits she would enjoy the opportunity to bring Dawson's Creek back: "It would be fun. I had so much fun working on that show and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories."
James has previously said he has grown to appreciate his role as Dawson Leery as he has gotten older: "The older get, the easier it is to appreciate how lucky I was to have that experience."

James Van Der Beek ‘Hides’ from ‘Dawson’s Creek’ Theme Song
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Drama, Prime Time, WB,
James Van Der Beek admits he wants to "hide" every time he hears the Dawson's Creek theme tune.
The actor played aspiring film-maker Dawson Leery in the long-running series - which also starred Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams and Joshua Jackson - but says he still has trouble listening to "I Don't Want to Wait" by Paula Cole 10 years later.
"For some reason - and again, I need to get over this - I'm [a] 35-year-old, grown-ass man - but I want to hide somewhere [when I hear it]. If I'm in public and the song comes on, my first instinct is to find somewhere to hide - go in a corner, duck behind a rack, run into a dressing room, find the nearest restroom, like, just get out of there. It's a Pavlovian response, and I think it's time for me to get over it. But for some reason, it just triggers inside of me. It's a great song, but it's nowhere near my iPod."
James and wife Kimberly Brook welcomed son Joshua in March, although he insists the choice of moniker had nothing to with with his Dawson's Creek costar Joshua Jackson: "It would have been cute, but no, it's something I did not even think about. It's a great name."

Quote of the Day: Michelle Williams on Dawson’s Creek
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, WB, Gossip,
"I said to a friend [that] being on Dawson's Creek was kind of like being a mobster. You set up a shop selling pizza but in the back you're laundering money. You're doing one thing in plain sight and secretly plotting something else. I was plotting my tastes, my interests, my beliefs and hopes for what I could be."
