AnnaLynne McCord Insists 90210 Casts Her Sisters

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Drama, Prime Time, The CW, Gossip,

AnnaLynne McCord and her two sisters90210 star AnnaLynne McCord isn’t doing anything different by following in the nepotistic footsteps of Hilary Duff, Jessica Simpson, and Britney Spears; however, McCord tends to be more blatant about it than all the rest.

The former Nip/Tuck villainess is rarely seen around town without her two sisters, Angel and Rachel. Though they’ve been seen around the 90210 set to support their famous sister, McCord isn’t going to settle for just that—she wants them on the show!

Rachel told E! herself that she’s in talks with casting on the show for an upcoming role… at AnnaLynne’s request. While there is no official word just yet, we can probably count on seeing Angel in talks with a role as well.

Let’s just all hope that the two siblings will prove to be worth all of this work when the spotlight turns to them.

The Future of the CW

The CWThere were times, before Gossip Girl, when might have started to fade into oblivion…moments when it seemed the network was still struggling. But in shows like Gossip Girl and 90210, the CW managed to strike gold. Melrose Place will premiere this fall, launching the channel toward even bigger success. So what else is in store for CW viewers?

Right now, the rumored Gossip Girl spinoff is a no-go. That’s not currently on the CW’s plate, though fans will no doubt keep the hope of a new GG series alive. Talks for spinoffs are still ongoing, but it doesn’t seem they’ve settled on a sure idea yet. The Body Politic pilot (featuring Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Union) won’t make it all the way to the schedule, either. This wasn’t the only casualty of many good pilots the CW decided to pass on…for now.
