VIDEO: Julia Stiles Talks Season 5 of Dexter
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, Cable, Showtime, Video,
Although we’re still not clear what Julia Stiles will be doing in the upcoming season of Dexter, we understand why the actress is “giddy with excitement” over her new role.
Despite being “horrible with gore,” Stiles signed on to play “Lumen” – a woman that’s being described as “psychologically and physically damaged.” (As if we’d expect anything less from a character on that show.)
So how will Lumen figure into all of Dexter Morgan’s mounting problems? Find out when the program returns to Showtime on September 26.

Tonight, the annual Emmy Awards telecast will be aired live on both the East and West Coasts (finally!). The ceremony will also incorporate fan tweets into Jimmy Fallon’s material—but will there be any other surprises in the 2010 broadcast?
Will 30 Rock continue its domination in the Comedy category, or will Glee - or even Modern Family - finally topple the reigning champ? Will Mad Men snag another Best Drama win, or will Lost get a statue for its final season?
What will Conan O’Brien say if he wins for The Tonight Show during this NBC event? Will Elisabeth Moss address soon-to-be ex-husband Fred Armisen if she wins for Best Supporting Actress? Oh – the awkward possibilities are endless!
So who won and who lost at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards? Read our West Coast play-by-play account of this evening’s telecast and find out!

First Look: Dexter Season 5 Trailer
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, Cable, Showtime, Video,
“It’s how it should be - hunter, prey. Let the game begin.”
At some point during every season of Dexter, we all ask ourselves the same question: “How the hell is he going to get out of this one?”
It’s time to hit replay.
When the Showtime series returns on September 26, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) will have to add “single father” and “grieving husband who shows know emotions” to his list of responsibilities. How is he going to juggle it all and keep Quinn (Desmond Harrington) off his track? And how the heck does Julia Stiles figure into all of this?? I’m dying to know.

Preview Season 6 of Weeds
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, Cable, Showtime, Video,
When Weeds returns to Showtime next month, fans will see the Botwins taking a new path - straight out of town.
Last summer’s deadly finale will result in new adventures for both the family and the comedy’s writers in Season 6.
“You have to reinvent the show. Now we’re about to send the characters fleeing on the road so you have the opportunity to make new characters, new personas,” executive producer Victoria Morrow explained at a Comic-Con panel. “[It’s] basically a decimation of all the Botwins’ work and a rebirth.”
