On Gear Live: Apple’s HUGE Siri Apple Intelligence Fumble w/ John Gruber - Geared Up 205

Kids -- let's not try to figure out how this would even work. Cookie Monster wants to be the host of Saturday Night Live and we need to make this happen.

In an attempt branch out "beyond his cookie-eating career," the self-proclaimed "cookie enthusiast" has created the audition tape above to land a hosting gig on the NBC program. In the clip, you can watch the character in a MacGruber-esque sketch ("Macarooner"), a news segment and a musical performance (as Monster Gaga).

Jay Pharaoh revealed a few more spot-on impressions during Saturday’s Anne Hathaway-hosted episode of SNL, writing raps for some of the genre’s biggest names.

Adam Sandler once wrote “The Thanksgiving Song,” now Pharaoh is showing rappers how to incorporate the holiday into their rhymes.

Although she didn't do any of her sketches in the nude (as the men of had suggested), kept us watching this weekend.

In possibly the best broadcast (so far) this season, the Love & Other Drugs star proved she could pull her weight in a number of sketches.

After the jump, watch the Oscar nominee take on Katie Holmes, Judy Garland and during her second SNL appearance. Is it safe to say she'll eventually be asked back for a third?

It's that time of the week again -- that time when we ask ourselves, "Will this week's Saturday Night Live actually make us laugh?"

As we've learned over the previous years weeks, it's impossible to predict the hilarity of an upcoming broadcast based on the promos alone (how many times have we been let down?) -- but that won't keep us from making snap judgments.

How do you think Oscar nominee Anne Hathaway will do on her second hosting gig? Watch the promos above and make your guesses now!

Kanye West and former President George W. Bush (played by Jay Pharoah and Jason Sudeikis, respectively) stopped by SNL’s Weekend Update desk on Saturday to talk about their newfound friendship. The skit was inspired by the real Kanye West’s decision last week to apologize to Bush for suggesting he is racist.

Sudeikis performed ably as Bush, but he’s no Will Ferrell. Pharoah’s Kanye West was pretty good, but it was begging for an auto-tune moment. The skit was one of the more enjoyable of the episode, which starred Scarlett Johansson in the hosting position.

Park and Recreation, truly one of TV’s most under-appreciated shows, still hasn’t returned from its Season 2 cliffhanger and we’re dying to see how Amy Poehler’s Leslie Knope is going to handle another year at the Parks Department.

So…how much longer do we have to wait, already?

According to those in the know, Season 3 should be on NBC “in January or February,” though the network is keeping mum on a definite date. As November drags on, it’s becoming clearer that we’re going to have to keep waiting for more of Aziz Ansari’s fantastic one-on-ones with the camera.

The cast and crew of Parks originally expected to return to air in September, which put a huge strain on the show’s leading lady Amy Poehler (who became pregnant with her and Will Arnett’s second child). Currently, they are shooting the 12th or 13th episode of the season, though they have no idea when any of them will be put on the air.
