On Gear Live: 2024 Nissan Z Nismo Review


In just two weeks, we’ll get an extra dose of housewives cattiness when The Real Housewives of Orange County ends and begins.

What kind of drama can we expect from the East Coasters this season? The Countess (a.k.a. LuAnn) gets a divorce and goes tone deaf; Ramona and her husband renew their vows (how Vicki and Donn of them); and Alex unloads “mean girl” comments on Jill. Meanwhile, Bethenney experiences love, pregnancy and apparent hatred from just about everyone.

The two-hour OC/NYC event starts March 4 @ 10:00 on Bravo.

  • 24 (FOX, 9pm):  “Jack’s undercover mission worries his colleagues.” They never thought he’d go so far as to wear a dress.
  • Keeping Up with Kardashians (E!, 10pm):  “Kourtney breaks up with Scott after he gets drunk on Kim’s birthday in Las Vegas.” She always knew he was a douche, but she didn’t realize he was such a lush.
  • Celebrity Close Calls (Biography, 10pm):  “Celebrities recall incidents in which they nearly died. Included: Jane Seymour, Erik Estrada, Leif Garrett and Coolio.” The death of their careers will be covered in Part 2.

  • CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm):  “A convicted killer () on death row receives a 24-hour stay of execution after doubt is cast on his guilt.” New evidence suggests he may have been given that girl’s underpants.
  • Hoarders (A&E, 10pm):  “A firefighter whose home overflows with his possessions.” That’s just a fire waiting to happen! Oh -  maybe that’s the point.
  • Damages (FX, 10pm):  “Patty and Phil, locked in their bitter divorce battle, find one piece of common ground: their dog.” Phil - if you love the dog, just give it to her. Trust me.

  • Cake Boss (TLC, 9pm):  “Buddy deals with an indecisive client when creating a cake for the grand opening of a movie theater.” They ultimately agreed to serve melted butter on the side.
  • Castle (ABC, 10pm):  “A vacationing family return home to find a supposed squatter dead in their daughter’s bed.” The cause of Goldilocks’ death? Poisoned porridge.
  • Damages (FX, 10pm):  Season premiere. “A court has appointed Patty to recover assets lost in a Ponzi scheme orchestrated by Louis Tobin (Len Cariou) while Ellen is working for the DA’s office, which will prosecute him.” Ahh - there’s nothing like the smell of a fresh backstab in the morning.

  • Heroes (NBC, 8pm):  “Hiro launches a rescue mission but has trouble communicating with Ando about it.” Hiro stopped paying attention to the program a long time ago.
  • Conveyor Belt of Love (ABC, 10pm):  Series premiere. “A not-quite fly-by romance contest in which five women check out 30 men on a conveyor belt. The belt stops for 60 seconds to enable the guys to make to make their cases, and if two girls pick the same guy, he gets to choose.” Conveyor belt matches at sushi restaurants will become the new speed dating at bars.
  • Hoarders (A&E, 10pm):  “A beekeeper manages his business, but his home is unkempt.” Those worker bees aren’t great at multitasking.

Lady Gaga in black mask

This could either be the hardest or the easiest challenge ever.

Back in November, Lady Gaga made a brief appearance on an episode of Gossip Girl. Now, the “Bad Romance” singer will become the major focus of Launch My Line.

In an upcoming episode of the Bravo reality series, the aspiring fashion designers will be tasked with creating a “boundary-pushing, Gaga-esque.” Based on everything we’ve seen the musician in so far, it’s hard to imagine what the last-place team could possibly produce.

That Launch My Line episode will air on January 6.

  • The Sing-Off (NBC, 8pm):  Series premiere. “A cappella groups from around the country perform in the first round of this competition series hosted by .” Those who have no groups, host.
  • Two and a Half Men (CBS, 9pm):  “Charlie teaches Jake the tricks of infidelity while his girlfriend is away for the holidays.”  Tip #1: Ask your mistress to take your name off her phone. Tell her to just have it as a number on the voicemail.
  • Chef Academy (Bravo, 10pm):  “Chef Novelli’s enrollees get to the root of cooking vegetarian meals. As one particular student begins to annoy the others, the aspiring chefs forge alliances.” Spoiler: The episode will end with a carrot in someone’s back.

Camila AlvesUp until now, most people recognized Camila Alves as the mother of Levi McConaughey, Matthew McConaughey’s ridiculously cute child. But in just a few months, the model/handbag designer may get recognition for an entirely different reason.

Come February, Alves - who is currently pregnant with Matthew’s second child - will front Season 3 of . This appointment comes after two years with Jaclyn Smith in the hosting role.

The program, which is essentially a Top Chef for hair stylists, will return with almost an entire makeover. Although famed colorist Kim Vo will be around for another round, other additions will include new judge Jonathan Antin (from old reality series Blow Out), new expert Orland Pita and an international cast.

Shear Genius premieres February 3 on Bravo.
