After months of waiting, Kara DioGuardi has finally received the answer she’s been wanting to hear: She won’t be returning to .

Although the decision comes as no surprise, it’s taken some time for it to be official. In fact, Kara - who supposedly tried to quit two months ago - has been waiting just like everybody else to learn the news.

“Would you believe, that she did not hear, and still has not heard anything?” DioGuardi’s father said earlier this month about rumors she had been canned. “Her disappointment is that that’s the way she’s being treated and she feels that’s not proper.”

Well, now she knows.

The crew stopped by a photo shoot for the series to ask each of the ladies how she felt about her five co-hosts. You can view the results in the video above.

The Talk is a highly-anticipated new talk show, scheduled to debut on CBS October 18. Each of the six women are mothers, with children ranging in ages. They will spend their time discussing current events, sharing stories and talking to the studio audience. Somewhere in the midst of it all, they’ll take the time to conduct interviews with celebs.
