  • * (2.4 million, 0.9/2) saw a 700,000 bump.

  • (13.2 million, 3.3/9 in 18-49) left its mark.
  • (9 million, 3.5/9) flatllined this week.
  • (4.8 million, 1.8/5) shrunk another 2 million.

Thursday Ratings: Trump Trounced By ‘Greys’, ‘CSI’

Despite a strong debut last week, Trump & Co. could not measure up to the titans of Thursdays.  Thanks to original episodes, and ended up splitting the spoils; the Alphabet network took the demos while the Eye network secured the viewers.

Aside for a few evenings with The Biggest Loser, has been unstoppable in what seems like weeks.  The network was again tops in viewers and demos.

  • (ABC, 8pm):  The first of six-airings this week.  In this game show, the contestants ‘challenge each other’s intellect and skill, but a single wrong answer disqualifies them from trying for the $1.5 million prize.’  Seriously - if a show is going to be named ‘Duel’, it should involve body blows.
  • (NBC, 8pm):  This four-part series brings us Michael Bolton, Patti LaBelle, Nick Lachey and Kelly Rowland.  Surprisingly, this combo is not part of some program.
  • (ABC, 9pm):  “Eric must organize a baby party without ruining friendships.”  His pals are all hoping they don’t have to come.
  • (NBC, 10pm):  “Dan is sent to rescue a mother and son in an RV hanging from a cliff.”  Just for clarification—do his travels always predate the existence of 911?

A whole new slate of fresh programming easily gave a wide lead over its competitors.  The network dominated with both the viewers and the demos:

  • With 19.79 million viewers, (6.1/16 in 18-49) was the evening’s hottest ticket.
  • (7.53 million, 2.7/7) was up about 800,000.
  • * (2.6/7) came in third with 7.18 million.
  • (5.58 million, 2.8/7) was slightly down from last week.
  • (3.2 million, 1.2/3) saw an increase of about 1 million.

  • (6 million, 2.1/5) lost about 500,000.
  • (2.9 million, 1.2/3) did about the same.

  • Without Grissom to help out, (4.1/11 in 18-49 demo) sailed back down to 14.5 million.
  • About 9.5 million saw Kovac return on (3.8/10).
  • A special episode of (3.2/9) drew in 8.5 million.

  • Prison Break (FOX, 8pm):  ‘Lechero reveals a secret buried beneath Sona.’  He’s been linked to the hatch this whole time. (NOTE:  This will be the last new Prison episode until Jan. 14th.)
  • Heroes (NBC, 9pm):  ‘The calendar turns back four months.’  Does this mean the writers still have a chance to redo this whole season?
  • (CBS, 9pm):  ‘Charlie finds success as a children’s singing star.’  He becomes The Wiggles’ new green-shirted guy.
  • (ABC, 10pm):  This is their opportunity to make up for any embarrassing moments they didn’t have a chance to create.
