Although his widely-read reviews are still accessible online and in print, there is one thing longtime fans of have had to do without. Now, thanks to the aid of Scottish technology, movie lovers will once again be able to hear the famous critic speak again - with his own voice.

On tomorrow’s episode of Oprah, Roger will sit down with his old friend for his first interview since leaving the air in 2006. Ebert, who was first diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer in 2002, has been unable to speak since the illness took part of his jawbone and forced him to go silent.

Now that Conan O’Brien’s left NBC, it’s ‘s time to warm up the audience.

Later this week, the old/new Tonight Show host will do his first one-on-one interview since Conan’s finale last Friday. , who is a close friend with Jay, flew to Los Angeles to pre-tape the chat.

Although Winfrey’s people have also extended an invitation to O’Brien, it’s not known whether he’ll eventually do his own daytime sit-down.

Leno’s interview is scheduled to air on Thursday.

We always knew wanted to be the next Oprah Winfrey. We just didn’t expect her to follow the talk show queen’s every move.

Today, the model-turned-entrepreneur revealed that she will end her daytime talk show at the end of this season. This surprising news comes just a month after Winfrey announced she would end her run.

“This will be the last season of The Tyra Show,” Banks told People. “I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.”

Alaina Reed Hall, best remembered by grown-ups as Olivia Robinson on , died last Thursday in Los Angeles. She was 63 years old.

Hall, who worked on the PBS program between 1976-1988, passed away after a long battle with breast cancer.

Prior to her role as Gordon’s younger sister, Alaina starred in Broadway productions of Hair and . She later moved into primetime television during her years on the comedy 227.

No memorial information has yet been announced for the actress.
