Although Tyra Banks is known for encouraging women to love themselves, the former supermodel is not entirely above physical transformations. On tomorrow’s episode of Tyra, a recent America’s Next Top Model contestant will be presented with a big surprise: she’ll be getting a sex-change operation for free.
Those who have been following Cycle 11 are already familiar with the story behind Isis King. The former homeless girl became the show’s first pre-op transgendered contestant earlier this fall. And while Isis (a.k.a. Darrell Walls) was very open about her situation during the competition, she admits it was hard not feeling like the rest of the ladies.

Wednesday Ratings: Third Debate Comes in Second
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Daytime, Reality, Specials, Sports, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, America’s Next Top Model, Ratings,
Despite better reviews for last night’s debate, Obama and McCain’s final meetup drew a smaller audience than Round 2. (The presidential event took in 56.5 million; last Tuesday’s gathering hit 63.2 million.) Unfortunately for CBS, yesterday’s political special meant a loss to NBC in both the viewers and the demos.
8pm
- Game 5 of the NLCS (2.6/7 in 18-49) rallied 8 million.
- The New Adventures of Old Christine (7.74 million, 2.1/6 in 18-49) was up about 100,000.
- Gary Unmarried (2.4/7) pulled in 7.71 million.
- Knight Rider (7.65 million, 2.3/7) improved by nearly 1 million.
- Pushing Daisies (6.3 million, 1.9/6) picked up 700,000.
- America’s Top Model (1.5/4) recapped 3.2 million.

Watch Shepherd’s Fight with Hasselbeck on The View

Although Sherri Shepherd was once known Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s conservative ally, the comedienne has been started to drift further away from her co-host politically.
On today’s episode of The View, the ladies questioned whether certain events should be dredged up in the presidential campaigns. Needless to say - they had very different opinions on the matter. (Things start really heating up around the 3:45 mark.)

McCain Also Caught Talking About Lipstick on Pigs
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Daytime, Talk Shows, ABC, Syndication, Gossip, Video,
Haven’t heard the latest controversy about pigs wearing lipstick? Well, then you haven’t been watching the news.
Today, Barack Obama is being fired upon from John McCain’s camp about comments he made during a speech yesterday. When talking about his opponent’s plan for change, the Democratic candidate chose to use this colorful analogy: “You can put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig.”
And while that phrase has been used many times before, McCain supporters felt Barack’s “sexist” comment was aimed directly toward Sarah Palin (the “Pitbull with Lipstick”). Unfortunately, the Republicans also failed to realize that their own candidate had used that same analogy about a certain female contender last year.
In today’s episode of The View, the ladies of the table talked about the two different soundbites. (You can watch both of them here.) If you listen closely, you might also hear Elisabeth Hasselbeck defend Barack Obama…

Anderson Cooper Rips Apart Living Lohan
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Daytime, Talk Shows, ABC, Syndication, Video,
UPDATE: You can find an update to this story here
On today’s episode of Live with Regis and Kelly, guest host Anderson Cooper diverted from his usual discussions about hard news to talk about….reality television.
In addition to making fun of Project Runway‘s leather queen (Stella), the CNN anchor used his journalistic skills to brilliantly shred Living Lohan.
C’mon Gelman. Can’t you see how much better your show would be without Regis?
