Daytime talk show has become the No Excuses jeans of the new millenium. You remember No Excuses jeans, right? No Excuses Sportswear spent the late 80’s and early 90’s capitalizing on infamous media stories by using the women involved in those stories to model their cheesy blue jeans. Donna Rice (disgraced Presidential Candidate Gary Hart’s “Monkey Business” lap mate) and Marla Maples (the reason for Donald and Ivana Trump’s divorce) are just a couple of the flash-in-the-pan media darlings who squeezed into a pair of No Excuses for a quick buck and some extra noteriety.

I’m not sure what’s more painful to watch—Jon Gosselin going through a midlife crisis or making uneducated statements (again).

During a pre-taped interview with , Philbin openly admitted that he was not a follower of Jon & Kate Plus Eight. Although that reveal should have immediately disqualified him from the conversation, the Live with Regis and Kelly host then proceeded to add his two cents to the divorce matter.

With soap opera relic Guiding Light going off the air, is looking at a daytime programming gap they haven’t had to worry about for six decades. You see, Guiding Light is so dusty is used to run on CBS radio. It’s been on CBS TV since 1952. That is a long-running show.

Time to hit the panic button now. So what’s CBS going to do to fill the gap left by this extremely old (and obviously highly successful) daytime drama? How about dredging up an almost equally-ancient game show and shoving it back onto the schedule?

And I’m pretty sure that’s how the pitch went when the network decided to breathe new life into Let’s Make a Deal, that “choose a door” delight once emceed by the irreplaceable Monty Hall. Will you ride away in a brand new car…or get stuck with a goat?

captured video of Heidi and Spencer Pratt arriving in LA after their stint in Costa Rica. The couple were part of the cast of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, a show they left several times before they finally chose to leave for good.

Now that they’re back to their lavish lifestyles, Speidi is singing a different tune. They no longer seem angry at NBC and they are denying that they ever cried “torture” against the network in the first place. “I love NBC. I was never suing NBC,” Spencer told that paps as he made his way through the airport. “I guess since you sign a waiver…it’s not called torture.” Or some smart lawyer patiently explained to the newlyweds that they absolutely don’t have a case against the show.

The pair further soaked up the spotlight by appearing on , where they were questioned by Al Roker. He valiantly tried to get real answers out of the couple before finally putting an end to the entire Q and A (view the video above).
