Wednesday Ratings: FOX Dances Over CBS

While it wasn’t the evening’s stronger performer, last night’s episode of SYTYCD did well enough to get FOX past CBS.
8pm
- So You Think You Can Dance (3.6/10 in 18-49) welcomed 9.3 million to its Wednesday time slot.
- The Price is Right (7.9 million, 1.5/5) rounded up another 200,000.
- Wife Swap (2.1/7) settled in with 5.8 million.
- NBC‘s coverage of the Stanley Cup finals (2.0/6) had 4.6 million cheering.
- Farmer Wants a Wife (1.0/3) averaged 2.8 million over two hours.
Variety
9pm
- Criminal Minds* (9.7 million, 2.1/6 in 18-49) was off 3.3 million from last week.
- Supernanny (6.6 million, 2.5/7) improved upon its lead-in.
10pm
- CSI: NY* (9.4 million, 2.4/7 in 18-49) lost 2.4 million.
- Men in Trees (1.6/4) dialed up 5.3 million.

Wow, to be honest I am shocked that Farmer Wants a Life even got one million viewers! The networks really need to lay off the reality TV shows, but they won’t until the viewers stop watching them… right now they make more money putting out crappy reality and game shows than they do with high-budget TV shows like 24 :(
