Thursday Ratings: CBS Almost Sweeps the Evening

CBS was almost a double victor last night. The network had the largest number of viewers and came narrowly close to passing ABC in the demos.
8pm
- Approximately 12.7 million saw another shocker on Survivor: Micronesia (4.1/12 in 18-49).
- Ugly Betty (8 million, 2.4/7) was up 100,000.
- Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (7.7 million, 1.9/6) fell by 600,000.
- My Name is Earl (6.1 million, 2.6/8) stumbled by 700,000.
- Scrubs (2.5/7) ended its season with 5.4 million.
- Smallville (4 million, 1.5/5) grew by 400,000.
Variety
9pm
- CSI (17.8 million, 4.9/13 in 18-49) was the night’s most-watched show.
- Grey’s Anatomy (15.6 million, 6.1/16) had the best demos.
- The Office (7.2 million, 3.6/9) slipped by 500,000.
- Don’t Forget the Lyrics (6.2 million, 2.0/5) had a 1.1 million decrease.
- 30 Rock (5.6 million, 2.6/7) picked up another 200,000.
- Supernatural (2.5 million, 1.0/3) was steady with last week.
10pm
- Without a Trace (14.6 million, 3.8/10 in 18-49) added on 1.7 million.
- Lost (11.3 million, 4.9/13) was up a few notches.
- ER (2.9/8) ended the evening with 7.6 million.
