Tuesday Ratings: Loser’s a Winner for NBC

NBC easily outweighed the competition last night. Tuesday’s finale of The Biggest Loser tallied its best ratings since the fall 2005 ender. That meant a double-win for the network. Meanwhile, a new Disney creation was a bright spot for ABC yesterday.
8pm
- An NCIS* repeat (15.1 million, 2.8/8 in 18-49) was the most-watched show of the night.
- The Biggest Loser (13.5 million, 5.0/13) was up 3.5 million from last week.
- Disney Prep & Landing (4.1/11) debuted to 12 million.
- A Charlie Brown Christmas (3.7/11) attracted 11.2 million Peanuts fans.
- So You Think You Can Dance (6.3 million, 2.4/6) added on 600,000.
- 90210 (1.9 million, 1.0/3) slipped by 300,000.

- NCIS: LA* (12 million, 2.3/6 in 18-49) gave up 1.2 million.
- Scrubs (5.4 million, 2.3/6) picked up 900,000.
- Better Off Ted (1.5/4) returned to 3.8 million.
- Melrose Place (1.3 million, 0.7/2) was down slightly.
10pm
- The Good Wife* (9.1 million, 1.9/5 in 18-49) did good enough to top its hour.
- The Jay Leno Show (8.3 million, 2.9/8) got a huge boost from its lead-in.
- The Forgotten* (1.3/4) dialed up 4.3 million.
