Monsters, mark your calendars for 2015: Lady Gaga will be singing in space!
The "Applause" hitmaker will embark on a space mission with Virgin Galactic flights and is reportedly planning to have vocal training to ensure she can still hit the correct notes in a gravity-free environment. "She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere," a source said.
Gaga is set to make history by becoming the first celebrity to perform in space. "[This will be] like nothing the world has seen before," the source added.
The 27-year-old star will perform on the third day of the Zero G Colony festival which takes place at Spaceport America in New Mexico approximately six months after the first Virgin Galactic commercial flight, and has taken the necessary precautions to ensure she is protected against the worst possible outcome. "Gaga has taken out a ridiculous life insurance policy!" the insider said.

Lady Gaga Sued Over “Teeth”

Lady Gaga is being sued over her 2009 song "Teeth."
Music producer and singer Teddy Riley - who was a member of 1990s hip-hop group Blackstreet - has filed a lawsuit against the 27-year-old pop star, claiming he hasn't received any of the payments he is owed after the song was included on her smash hit The Fame Monster EP. Teddy, 46, says he was promised 25 per cent of the writing fees for the song but hasn't been paid at all, and he is now seeking $500,000 as well as punitive damages, reports TMZ.
Gaga's Fame Monster EP, which was released after her debut album The Fame and before her second album Born This Way, is credited with establishing her as one of the most popular music artists today and it also features hit songs such as "Telephone," "Bad Romance" and "Alejandro."
In January, Teddy hit the headlines after he sued his own daughter, aspiring songwriter Taja Riley, after she allegedly claimed she co-wrote "Teeth." Taja landed a music publishing deal as a result of her supposed involvement, however, Teddy insists his daughter's claims about her "participation in the creation of the composition, authorship, and ownership [of 'Teeth'] are all false and untrue."

Lady Gaga Is No Madonna Copy
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Gossip, Pop,
Lady Gaga is not a "reductive Madonna copy."
The "Applause" singer doesn't care if people accusing her of imitating the elder star - sparked by her 2011 single "Born This Way" bearing similarities to Madonna's "Express Yourself" - because she feels her work stands apart.
"LADY GAGA IS A REDUCTIVE MADONNA COPY! SHE'S OVER NOW! #WriteWhatUWant #SayWhatUWantBoutMe #ImNotSorry," she wrote on Twitter. She then added a link to a 2012 interview in which Madonna described her songs as "reductive," adding, "MADONNA HATES GAGA SHE'S OVER. I don't need anybody's permission to be remembered. I will be. Whether they like it or not."
Gaga, 27, also addressed her past issues with drugs and fluctuating weight in a similar manner: "LADY GAGA IS ON DRUGS. HER CAREER IS OVER! (Been an addict for 10 years) #WriteWhatUWant. My recovery is a daily battle."

Lady Gaga will headline the first ever YouTube Music Awards.
The "Bad Romance" hitmaker will join Arcade Fire and Eminem on November 3 at the inaugural event which will honor artists who have shared their work through the popular video-sharing website.
"It's our chance to really celebrate the artists and the songs that have become hits on YouTube over the past year," said YouTube's vice president of marketing Danielle Tiedt.
There will be a number of performances taking place across the globe - including Seoul, Moscow, London and Brazil - before a live 90-minute show which will be streamed from Pier 36 in Manhattan, New York City.
Director Spike Jonze - who has worked on videos for a host of top artists including Weezer, P. Daddy, the Chemical Brothers, Bjork and R.E.M. - has been cast as creative director for the production and is looking forward to working with the talent. "Instead of bands performing to an audience on a stage, we're going to have a warehouse with all these different sets and try to make live music videos throughout the night. The idea is let's get a bunch of interesting artists together and have a night that's all about making things," he said, according to the Los Angeles Times newspaper.

Lady Gaga Fans Will Choose Next Single from ‘ARTPOP’

Lady Gaga has asked her fans to choose her next single.

Writing on Twitter, Gaga - who is dating actor Taylor Kinney - said, "#SexDreams is me talking to two different lovers. One im with in reality, the other in fantasy. (separated by me singing vs. speaking). #SexDreams chorus is that moment when you wake up sweaty from that dream and laugh because you know you got away with something naughty! (sic)"

Lady Gaga Lashes Out at Hackers
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Leaks, Pop,
Lady Gaga won't let computer hackers defeat her.
The superstar's comeback single "Applause" was leaked online before its scheduled release date and Gaga stands by the threat she made on Twitter when she heard the news. "Wanna grab some shovels and f**k up some hackers?" she wrote on Twitter.
Asked whether she still wants to attack the computer geeks who leaked the track, Gaga replied, "Yes, I did mean that Tweet. I just think, especially for the music industry right now, it's important that we all stick together, that we support one another and each other's records. Hackers leaking songs before they're released is detrimental to our marketing plan, so I thought it would be a funny way to tell everyone that we're OK over here in the Haus of Gaga. We got our team together very quickly to be ready for the release."

Lady Gaga: When I’m Not on Stage I Don’t Feel Alive
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Concerts / Tours, Performances, Pop,
Lady Gaga only feels truly alive when she's on stage.
The singer - who is set to give her first live rendition of her new single "Applause" from her album ARTPOP at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York City this Sunday - finds meaning to her existence when is performing: "When I'm not on stage I don't feel alive. But when I hit the stage it's like everything that I'm thinking and feeling, where I belong - that's where it is."
But the eccentric star doesn't think she is different from anyone else, because most people have creative energy they want to release. "I don't think I am different from anybody else. I think everyone with their location and their job and what they do, their passion, feel the same way I do. It's sort of like we are endlessly obsessing about what we are creating and then the explosion is the moment where we get to share," she explained.
The pop genius was forced to take time out after hip surgery to correct a tear and breakage inside the joint in February and consequently cancelled the remaining dates on her Born This Way Ball, and now she is very excited about getting back to work.
