Chris Brown has accused his former manager of leaking his new album.
The R&B star, whose record X is set to be released May 5, warned his fans on Twitter that there are "snakes in the grass" and claimed his former boss, Tina Davis, was trying to "sabotage" the release, the follow-up to 2012's Fortune. "My old manager is leaking my NEW album and refuses to give me my back up hard drive to sabotage my album. That's F'd up G! [sic]," he tweeted. Chris later deleted the tweet but added, "Snakes in the grass ... Just stay positive."

Prince Not Suing Fans Over Bootleg Performances

Prince says it's "cool" when fans share music.
The "Purple Rain" hitmaker has scoffed at reports he filed a $22 million lawsuit against 22 internet users who allegedly posted recordings of his live performances online. The 55-year-old musician insists he would never sue his own fans and is happy for them to share his songs as long as they are not doing so to make money.
Speaking at a press conference held at his friend Lianne La Havas' home to announce his upcoming London concerts on Tuesday, Prince told the BBC, "Nobody sues their fans. I have some bootlegs of Lianne but I wouldn't sell them. But fans sharing music with each other, that's cool... But when you hear something [on bootleg] you're just hearing something that's not finished."
Prince - who is about to release a new album with his band 3RDEYEGIRL - also revealed he has a large number of unheard music in the vaults at his Paisley Park home and studio, and he owns the rights to old archive of recordings that he may release in future: "A song from 1985 might come out in 2021. I have a whole organization who look after stuff."

Bruce Springsteen’s New Album Leaks on Amazon
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Leaks, Upcoming Releases, Rock, Amazon MP3 Store,
Bruce Springsteen's new album leaked on Amazon at the weekend.
The musical legend's upcoming LP High Hopes was briefly available on the online retailer's mobile website on Saturday for fans to download the tracks individually on MP3. The album originally wasn't due for release until January 13, and Amazon has since realized the error and taken down the album. However, it is believed fans have already placed the songs on a number of illegal file sharing sites.
High Hopes, which was recorded in New Jersey, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Australia and New York City, features Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello on numerous tracks, as well as a cover of Suicide's "Dream Baby Dream."
Meanwhile, the 64-year-old star recently admitted the record was put together in an abnormal manner, unlike other artists who have a structure. "The best way to describe this record is that it's a bit of an anomaly. But not much. I don't really work linearly, like a lot of people do," he previously said earlier this month.

One Direction Annoyed by Album Leak
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Leaks, Upcoming Releases, Pop,
One Direction is "annoyed" that their album Midnight Memories has leaked online.
The boy band's third studio album is set for release on November 25, but tracks emerged on the internet yesterday, and they are concerned it will affect record sales.
"It is annoying because there's this big build-up and it affects sales. We really want a number one, so we're just kind of hoping for the best now. Hopefully people go out and buy it," Liam Payne said.
Louis Tomlinson is also frustrated and would rather people wait until the official release. "It's just frustrating when you work so hard on an album and you kind of want everyone to hear it at the same time. Some select fans won't listen to it until it's out, which is great. But there are others who obviously can't help themselves," he added.

Britney Spears’ Team Briefed to Deny Lip-Synching
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Concerts / Tours, Gossip, Leaks, Performances, Rumors, Pop,
Britney Spears' team have been briefed to cover up her plans to lip-sync during her Las Vegas concert residency.
The "Toxic" hitmakers' managers have created a "cheat sheet" of answers to be given to curious media and fans about her two-year Britney: Piece of Me shows in the US gambling capital, and the document has now been obtained by the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l section. According to Confidenti@l, the paper features stock answers like, "Yes! She will be singing live!," "Certainly she will be singing live!," "Yes, all vocals will be live!" and "No lip-syncing will happen at the show."
However, the "special notes" section of the sheet indicates otherwise, and contains a note reading, "All vocals will be pre-recorded." It adds that the "live" band "will be pre-recorded also." The document warns staff at Planet Hollywood to "try and stay in the margins of the provided answers and refrain from elaborating replies."
The pop princess will kick off her residency on December 27 and is reportedly being paid $15 million a year.

The rapper's track "(Don't Turn On Me) Warning You," featuring vocals by Skylar Grey, has appeared online, which he claims could ruin the release of his next album, Street King Immortal.
"Damn I may have lost this ALBUM. SH!t leaking off my old drive. This is crazy. #smsaudio. Look it's ever were a joint I did called DON'T TURN ON ME. it out now titled I'm warning you. He also confirmed the song was produced by Alex Da Kid and claims the leaked version isn't properly finished: "Yea Alex da kid did the track it's not even mixed (sic)."
50 appeared to have made a return in January when his track "My Life" featuring Eminem and Maroon 5's Adam Levine made it to number two in the UK charts. He then released two further tracks "Major Distribution" in February and "We Up" in March, but the album is yet to materialize.

Lady Gaga won't let computer hackers defeat her.
The superstar's comeback single "Applause" was leaked online before its scheduled release date and Gaga stands by the threat she made on Twitter when she heard the news. "Wanna grab some shovels and f**k up some hackers?" she wrote on Twitter.
Asked whether she still wants to attack the computer geeks who leaked the track, Gaga replied, "Yes, I did mean that Tweet. I just think, especially for the music industry right now, it's important that we all stick together, that we support one another and each other's records. Hackers leaking songs before they're released is detrimental to our marketing plan, so I thought it would be a funny way to tell everyone that we're OK over here in the Haus of Gaga. We got our team together very quickly to be ready for the release."

New Kanye West VMA Rant Surfaces

A new tape has surfaced of Kanye West ranting after the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
The "New Slaves" rapper famously interrupted Taylor Swift as she gave her acceptance speech for Best Video for "You Belong With Me" at the event, with a speech on why he felt Beyonce should have won. A recording has now emerged in which Kanye bizarrely seems to explains his actions were because he spent time re-writing his verse in Jay-Z and Rihanna collaboration "Run This Town," which was released earlier that year.
According to Gawkeronline.com, Kanye says, "I wrote my f***ing 'Run This Town' verse for a f***ing month! When I heard Eminem's verse on the Drake s**t, I went back and rewrote my s**t for two days. I cancelled appointments to rewrite! I f***ing care! You know what I'm saying? And that's what I'm saying. Because I did that, Taylor Swift cannot win over Beyonce!"
