RihannaRihanna has been offered a settlement of over $10 million in her legal battle against her former accountants.

The "Diamonds" hitmaker had taken action against Peter Gounis and his firm Berdon LLP, claiming their poor financial advice had led to her losing a reported $9 million in 2009, and though she was initially suing for $35 million, the New York Post newspaper claims the firm have offered a settlement and the paperwork to end the case will be signed later this week.

In her claim, Rihanna - whose real name is Robyn Fenty - said the firm advised her to buy a $7 million house, even though they knew she was "bleeding cash."

"The defendants advised Ms. Fenty by e-mail that purchasing a home in Los Angeles 'would be a good investment' despite knowing Ms. Fenty was experiencing financial difficulties," her lawyer Edward Estrada wrote in legal documents.

Black Eyed PeasBlack Eyed Peas are set to return next year.

The "I Gotta Feeling" group - will.i.am, Fergie, apl.de.ap and Taboo - are getting back together for their first studio album and tour since The Beginning in 2010. "The Black Eyed Peas are all in agreement they should put a new tour on for the fans - it's not like they properly split when they parted for a hiatus in 2012. This time around they're going to head back into the studio and lay down a new album quickly and then hit the road once again. Will.i.am has been instrumental in persuading all the Peas to get back into shape and hit the road again," a source said.

The source says new mother Fergie - who has five-month-old son Axl Jack with her husband Josh Duhamel - has been holding the process up. "Fergie's been stalling and wants to hold out for as much money as she can guarantee. She's got a baby now and needs it to be a very worthy amount to make her take her baby on the road," the insider added.

RihannaRihanna claims she was "effectively bankrupt" in 2009.

The "Only Girl in the World" hitmaker blames her accountants' poor decision making for her fortune dwindling away from $11 million in cash at the beginning of the year to $2 million several months later.

In documents filed in her gross mismanagement case against the accountancy firm, Berdon LLP, Rihanna claims they gave her the go-ahead to buy a house priced between $7 and $7.5 million, which she did - and later sold for a $2 million loss. To further add to her financial woes that year, the singer's expenses "doubled," TMZ reports. In the lawsuit, Rihanna also claimed her 2009 Last Girl on Earth tour was losing money but she was never warned of this by the accountants.

Berdon previously claimed Rihanna's own "financial action or inaction" or those of people working for her caused her to lose money, not their decision-making. They also dismissed the "Diamonds" star's previous objection she paid an "above-average" commission of 22 per cent as something she had signed off on herself.

AdeleAdele earned $50 million in 2013 without touring or releasing any music.

The Skyfall singer's Melted Stone company revealed a turnover of $50 million for the past financial year, which was filed this week with Companies House. According to reports in The Sun newspaper, Adele took home $19.8 million, which included a $8 million pay package and a $11.8 million dividend.

Her huge income was earned despite not releasing any albums or singles, and she didn't go on the road to play a run of live shows. However, the success of her album 21 has boosted her bank balance, despite being released three years ago.

Although Adele has been quiet musically for a while, she has been raising her 16-month-old son Angelo, with work now starting on her highly-anticipated third album.

PrincePrince says it's "cool" when fans share music.

The "Purple Rain" hitmaker has scoffed at reports he filed a $22 million lawsuit against 22 internet users who allegedly posted recordings of his live performances online. The 55-year-old musician insists he would never sue his own fans and is happy for them to share his songs as long as they are not doing so to make money.

Speaking at a press conference held at his friend Lianne La Havas' home to announce his upcoming London concerts on Tuesday, Prince told the BBC, "Nobody sues their fans. I have some bootlegs of Lianne but I wouldn't sell them. But fans sharing music with each other, that's cool... But when you hear something [on bootleg] you're just hearing something that's not finished."

Prince - who is about to release a new album with his band 3RDEYEGIRL - also revealed he has a large number of unheard music in the vaults at his Paisley Park home and studio, and he owns the rights to old archive of recordings that he may release in future: "A song from 1985 might come out in 2021. I have a whole organization who look after stuff."

BeyonceBeyonce has sacked her manager and become her own boss.

The "Drunk In Love" hitmaker and Jay Z are now in total control of her career after ditching Live Nation executive Faisal Durrani, although her husband doesn't hold an official professional position.

"Jay has been heavily involved in Beyonce's career for years, and was instrumental in organizing the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. But he isn't officially regarded as her manager - she really is independent," a source said.

The change in focus is to make sure her career is handled with her family in mind, and with the couple reportedly keen to give their two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy a sibling in the future. "Now the couple have Blue, she wants to make sure her family come first at all times, especially as there's talk of them adding to the brood. The best way to do that is to make sure all managerial decisions are made by her and her husband - together," the insider added.

RihannaRihanna was "so shocked" to win a Grammy award last week.

The 25-year-old singer wasn't at the ceremony when she won the prize for the Best Urban Contemporary Album for her 2012 release Unapologetic, but she admits she was stunned when she found out: "I was so shocked. Really, I was at home and one of my friends hit me and said, 'You've just won a Grammy,' and I was like, 'What?' and when I went on the internet I just saw Unapologetic. It was quite an emotional moment surprisingly. But I was in shock, I'm excited, it was a good feeling to still be that excited at this point in my career."

The "Stay" hitmaker was later spotted at The Young Money Cash Money Records party at Greystone Manor with her rumored boyfriend Drake. However, there may have been some awkward moments in between her partying as her rival Karrueche Tran was also in attendance.

Both Rihanna and the aspiring model have had on/off relationships with Chris Brown - who was convicted of assaulting the "We Found Love" singer in 2009 - and have previously had a war of words on Twitter.

AdeleAdele is planning a 2015 tour.

The "Someone Like You" singer will reportedly head out on the road again next year after spending time being a mother to her 15-month-old son Angelo with long term boyfriend Simon Konecki.

"At the moment the discussions are all about a 2015 tour of the UK and North America at least, possibly a world tour. She has managed to spend a lot of the past two years focusing on being a mother, and wants to continue to do that while releasing and promoting new material. She has been back to work but is recording at her own pace. Her appeal has always been the quality of her music so she isn't about to rush release anything just for the sake of it," a source said.

The 25-year-old singer vowed not to tour again until Angelo turned two although she has been in the studio with composer James Ford and singer/songwriter Kid Harpoon, who has worked with the likes of Florence and the Machine.

Jessie JJessie J has pulled out of Robin Thicke's tour to concentrate on recording.

The "Price Tag" singer confirmed that she will no longer be supporting the R&B artist in North America in an effort to focus on recording an American version of her second studio album Alive in an attempt to break the US. The star was due to head out on the road in support of the "Blurred Lines" man in February and March, but she took to Twitter today to reveal her cancellation.

"I'm off to the USA to dedicate my time to my heartbeats who have had less of my time than anywhere in the world in the past few years. No gigs, no music released! So I am going into the studio to write and finish the US version of Alive and hopefully do some small shows and prove to my fans how much I want to be there! Not everything is in my control! But I am making it my goal that my album is released in the USA this year!" she wrote.

DrakeDrake's posthumous Aaliyah album featuring unreleased material from the singer has been scrapped.

The rapper's producer Noah "40" Shebib was set to work with him on the project but has pulled out because her mother Diane didn't approve of the idea. In an interview with Vibe, Noah said, "The world reacting to Drake's involvement so negatively, I just wanted nothing to do with it. [Aaliyah's] mother saying 'I don't want this out' was enough for me. I walked away very quickly."

He was also worried about the "negative stigma" involved with the album, which was set to feature unreleased material from the 22-year-old singer who died in a plane crash on August 25, 2001. But he claims producer Timbaland, who previously said only he should work on Aaliyah's music, was positive about his work.
