Emma Watson as Hermione GrangerHarry Potter star Emma Watson became more interested in the films as the franchise got "darker." The 21-year-old actress - who has played leading lady Hermione Granger in the movie series for the last 10 years - began to enjoy the films when it became more of a challenge for her to act in them.

"I mean obviously I went from being a child to being an adult. As the material got darker, it got more challenging. When that started happening, I started taking more of an interest."

The British star - who has returned to education and turned to a career in fashion alongside her film work as she has grown older - also admits she will miss her character in the movie more than she will miss anything else.

"I'm just going to miss being her, living in her world."

Chris HemsworthAustralian actor Chris Hemsworth is to star in Shadow Runner, an action thriller acquired by Columbia Pictures attached with producers Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson.

Details on the plot are being kept under wraps, but it is believed Hemsworth's character will lead an elite team of operatives who take on impossible tasks.

"We think the story is a terrific action thriller for Chris Hemsworth and we know this project is in great hands with Tripp, Beau and Will as they develop the film," said Columbia Pictures production president Hannah Minghella.

Drive writer Hossein Amini - who will executive produce - came up with the initial idea for the movie, with the inspiration being an incident when an Israeli assassination team targeted someone they believed murdered soldiers and stockpiled missiles, eventually tracking him to Dubai, where a 17-man team killed him in the corridor of a luxury hotel. However, Deadline.com reports the film will not directly replicate those events.

Chris can next be seen opposite Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron in Snow White and the Huntsman.

Indiana Jones and the Crystal SkullHarrison Ford labeled Shia LaBeouf a "f**king idiot" for criticizing Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull.

The 68-year-old actor - who played the titular character in the fourth installment of the franchise, with Shia playing his son - does not believe it was correct of the 25-year-old star to say he "dropped the ball" on the movie because it is his duty to "support" a film.

"I think I told him he was a f**king idiot. As an actor, I think it's my obligation to support the film without making a complete ass of myself. Shia is ambitious, attentive and talented - and he's learning how to deal with a situation which is very unique and difficult," Ford told Details.

Shia portrayed Mutt Williams in the 2008 movie, and speaking last year said it was his "fault" the movie - which took $786.6 million at the box office worldwide - did not work, adding Harrison was also not "happy" with the final product:

The pair have signed up to make cameo appearances in Sacha Baron Cohen's forthcoming comedy, though the nature of their roles is being kept under wraps.

The film - which is currently being shot in New York - chronicles the story of a Middle Eastern despot who is removed from his position and flees to the US after he is replaced by a lookalike former goat herder, with both roles being played by Sacha. Sir Ben Kingsley, Jason Mantzoukas and Anna Faris are already signed up to appear in the film, which is being directed by Larry Charles.

Last week, footage emerged of Sacha - in character for the movie - being apprehended by a waiter as he stole food from a diner at New York restaurant Orsay. The comic, wearing a pink t-shirt and denim shorts, fled with a plate of food and a glass of wine, but was chased by the server and tackled to the ground. Later in the evening, he was seen in the same outfit outside a restaurant which doubles as the one his character owns in the film.

The Hangover Part IIAfter its impressive box office record, it's only a matter of time before the sequel to The Hangover Part II is greenlit. The follow-up to the 2009 film The Hangover has grossed over $488 million to become the most globally successful R-rated comedy ever.

The Hangover Part II - which reunites original cast members Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Justin Bartha for the movie set in Bangkok - took in $21.4 million this weekend, surpassing the $468 million generated from the first movie and bringing the combined total to almost one billion dollars.

Following on from the box office success of The Hangover Part II, it is likely the cast and crew will return for a third film in the franchise with star Zach - who plays Alan Garner in the Todd Phillips-directed films - already getting calls about it. "They want to do a Hangover 3. I'm getting fricking phone calls already," Galifianakis said.

Filmmaker Todd has previously revealed another film in the series would be the last and thought it would be good to change the "template" of the franchise: "If we were to do a third one, and quite honestly we really haven't talked about it. I think we have a clear idea where that would head and it's certainly not in the same template you've seen these movies and obviously we always envisioned it as a trilogy as you can imagine, the third would very much a finale and an ending."

Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern

Jim Carrey's family comedy Mr. Popper's Penguins debuted in third place raking in $18.2 million, pushing last week's second place film X-Men: First Class  -- the X-Men prequel starring James Mcavoy and Michael Fassbender -- to fourth with $11.5 million.
