Buzz Lightyear’s ready to fly for a fourth time, but Pixar isn’t totally committed to doing another Toy Story movie just yet.
Tim Allen has agreed to reprise his role in another sequel, but the story’s neatly wrapped up thus far. Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich said he tried to “end of the story of Andy and his toys and bring that story to a close in a really nice way.”
But that doesn’t mean the door is completely closed - he also said “we know that people love the characters…and would hate to say good-bye to them completely.”
We do know this: the entire gang of toys will be appearing in a short film, which will air before the opening of Cars 2 (which opens in June 2011).

Now that Edward Norton is definitely out of the Avengers movie project, speculation is running rampant around who will be the next actor to play the Incredible Hulk.
Joaquin Phoenix has been mentioned as one possible Hulk - though he’s supposed to be retired from the filmmaking biz. Now, new sources say Mark Ruffalo is being considered for the role, though no formal negotiations have been conducted.
Ruffalo has been seen in films such as Reservation Road, Shutter Island and The Brothers Bloom and is currently appearing in The Kids Are All Right. Reps for Marvel and Mark Ruffalo have offered no comments on the rumor.

The tumultuous, romantic relationship between film icons Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton (who were wed twice) will be the subject of a new film based on the book Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and the Marriage of the Century.
Some of the material for the book was offered by Elizabeth Taylor herself, who provided love letters written to her by Burton and an unpublished first draft of Taylor’s 1965 autobiography.
The part of Taylor is one of the best movie roles to come along in a long, long time - and all of Hollywood is chomping at the bit to get involved. Sources say that Angelina Jolie and Catherine Zeta-Jones are both interested in the role. Clive Owen, Colin Farrell and Russell Crowe are all eager to play the part of Richard Burton.

Think Edward Norton is green with anger/envy over being excluded from The Avengers film? Wonder if he’s pissed about not being considered a team player? Well, if he is - the former Incredible Hulk sure isn’t acting that way.
Yesterday, the Oscar nominee turned to his Twitter and Facebook accounts to respond to the recent casting announcement. Norton’s very pleasant response to Marvel’s decision can be read after the jump.

Given her packed household, it’s understandable why anyone would question all the rumors surrounding Angelina Jolie’s career. Could she really be attached to play Cleopatra, Sleeping Beauty‘s Maleficent and Kay Scarpetta?
In an interview with MTV, the Salt actress said she would happily welcome a Tim Burton collaboration. “I would love to,” Jolie said about Maleficent. “It’s all new and being discussed, but I loved her when I was a little girl. It looks like Steve Carell will do just fine when he finally leaves Dunder Mifflin.
Neither vampires nor predators could keep Gru (Carell) and his minions from ruling the box office this weekend. Despicable Me - also featuring the voices of Miranda Cosgrove, Jason Segel and Russell Brand - overcame it’s title and delighted audiences to the tune of $56.4 million. Universal’s feature earned nearly enough to cover the film’s production cost ($69 million) and more than enough to push last week’s champ, Eclipse, down to second place.
Meanwhile, Fox’s Predators, set its laser sights on the alien creature lovers out there. The sci-fi thriller, starring Adrien Brody and Topher Grace, fired up $24.8 million in ticket sales and a third place finish.
