Louis Vuitton creative director Marc Jacobs takes fans behind the scenes of this fall’s campaign, which stars Christy Turlington, Karen Elson, and Natalia Vodianova.
Speaking about the campaign, which was photographed by Steven Meisel, Marc said that it has “a cinematic feeling…. really a continuation of the spirit that we started with the [runway] show; that was a celebration of women and this joy and indulging in the qualities and the luxuries in the art of living that women get to enjoy .... ”

Solange Knowles Not Working For Beyonce on Dereon
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, Models, News,
Although she adores shoes, Solange Knowles isn’t impressed with sister Beyonce’s junior clothing line.
The 24-year-old singer was the face of fashion line Dereon, which “Single Ladies” hitmaker Beyonce and her mother Tina launched in 2006, but stepped down because the outfits are something she wouldn’t normally wear.
“I initially was involved as the spokesperson, but the clothes just didn’t reflect my personal style and I decided to hand that over.”
Despite not being a fan of Beyonce’s fashion line, the mother-of-one loves the bedding collection she and Tina have done and would like to promote that: “That’s the great thing about my family. We work together so closely that if something’s not working out, we can be honest about it and there won’t be any grudges or issues. I will say though, they did just do a bedding line that I am extremely in love with and I was like, ‘Can I model that… in my house?”
Although Solange wouldn’t wear the clothes, the fashion line is very successful and Beyonce’s debut scent Heat has been a huge hit.
Crystal Renn Disappears in Fashion for Passion Campaign

Can you spot plus-size model Cyrstal Renn in these photos? Yeah, I didn’t think so. This may be the first time that I’m actually hoping that the photo editors were a little click-happy when it came to this campaign for Fashion for Passion, photographed by Nicholas Routzen.
For a model who has been heralded as the forerunner for plus-size models in high fashion, she sure doesn’t look like it! Still ever so gorgeous, she looks half the size she did at the Chanel Cruise Show.
What do you think of Renn’s magical weight loss?

Victoria Beckham For Range Rover
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, News,
From designing clothes, Victoria Beckham will now be designing cars, as she has become the new Creative Design Executive for Range Rover.
The former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer has been asked to create the interior of the luxury car firm’s new Range Rover Evoque and she can’t wait to get started on her new job.
“This is a very exciting collaboration. The classic British heritage of Range Rover and the effortless style, quality and beauty is something I truly admire and also what I hope to achieve with my own brand. I am honored to take on this role and be part of the creative team,” Victoria said, speaking at the 40th anniversary party for the brand.
The new car will be available in four-wheel and two-wheel drive versions and will make its official public debut at the Paris Motor Show in September.
“Victoria understands luxury products - she is a Range Rover fan and has been a Range Rover owner for many years. I believe this appointment adds a new dimension to my design team as we continue to design products to appeal to a wider audience,” said Gerry McGovern, Land Rover and Range Rover Design Director.
Christina Hendricks Loves Her Womanly Figure
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Health & Beauty, Models, News,
Voluptuous starlet Christina Hendricks felt “gorgeous” after gaining weight.
The Mad Men actress thinks she was too skinny when she was a model and was thrilled when she piled on the pounds after living in Italy because she started to look like a real woman.
“I guess my mom raised me right. She was very celebratory of her body. I never heard her once say, ‘I feel fat.’ Back when I was modeling, the first time I went to Italy I was having cappuccinos every day, and I gained 15 pounds. And I felt gorgeous! I would take my clothes off in front of the mirror and be like, Oh, I look like a woman. And I felt beautiful, and I never tried to lose it, ‘cause I loved it.”
Although the 35-year-old star is happy with her curves, she admits she’s had to start going to the gym but has surprised herself by how much she enjoys it:

Emma Watson Gave Her Brother His Modeling Break
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, Models, News,
Gotta love celebrity nepotism: Emma Watson helped give her younger brother his modeling break.
The Harry Potter actress is the face of British fashion house Burberry and sibling Alex was shopping in the store, where he was soon introduced to the firm’s creative director Christopher Bailey.
“I was actually shopping for a suit in Burberry to wear at one of Emma’s Harry Potter premiere’s when someone from the brand approached and said ‘I think I think you should meet with Christopher.’”
Before he knew it, Alex had been cast alongside his famous sister in a Burberry campaign and while he is a novice, Emma has been giving him advice: “It was such a shock but it was a pretty good gig. Emma’s been really great - we get on very well but it’s good to have her there to give me tips. Her main one is to relax and don’t be scared. Easier said than done though. She’s just so efficient!”
Although it wasn’t a career he set out to do, Alex is loving every moment of being a model:

Waves of Hollister fragrances aren’t the only thing you should be worried about when perusing the surf-happy store—you’ve got to steer clear of the bedbugs nowadays!
The retail chain, owned by Abercrombie & Fitch, recently shut its SoHo store down due to the infestation, which one spokesman said was only “affecting certain isolated areas of the store.”
Well, that’s not what an employee is saying: “The first report of bedbug bites in the store was three weeks ago by and employee and a manager, but that was ignored. On Tuesday the 29th, an employee found that she had been bitten, and also found a live bedbug and an exoskeleton on her borrowed Hollister outfit. All of the employees were forced to continue working even though more and more bugs were being discovered.”
Gotta love those corporate decisions.
The store’s closing is only temporary; the company says that it’s working hard to get rid of the bug problem.

With her gorgeous, natural looks, it shouldn’t be surprising that Lara Stone only needs half an hour to get ready.
The Dutch supermodel - who was recently named as the new face of Calvin Klein - says her style is very minimal, and while she enjoys getting dressed up for a night out, it doesn’t take her too long.
“I like quite minimalist clothing. I always feel awkward in bright color or prints, although I have been trying to wear more, and it’s really not as bad as I thought. In the evening I like to dress more sexy. I have a few of those really skin-tight little Alaia dresses that I love. It’s only recently that I started to enjoy getting all dressed up for a night out. But I still like to keep it simple. I hardly ever need more than half an hour to get ready.”
Lara stayed true to her style when she married British comedian David Walliams last month in a full-length corseted dress designed by Riccardo Tisci: “It was perfect for me, thanks to Riccardo Tisci, who knows me so well. It was very romantic without being too sweet - and sexy, but in a very simple, understated way. I know it sounds cliche, but I found it timeless. I’m sure I’ll still love it in 50 years. It was perfect.”
Quote of the Day: Solange Knowles on Shoes
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, News, Footwear,
“Shoes! I’m all about the shoes! I order a ton of them online and play with my entire wardrobe until I find the right shoe. Unfortunately, so many people get it right from the head until the ankles. The shoe is very important. I can’t even f*** with you if your shoe game is slacking.”

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, News, Sales,
It seems like everyone wants a piece of the Twilight pie these days.
After Twi-hards raided Hot Topic in time to plaster Robert Pattinson‘s face onto their chests for the previous two films, Nordstrom has offered a brighter, more stylish alternative for fans who may not be big into brooding t-shirts.
Would you wear these $28 tanks to display your allegiance at Eclipse‘s opening tonight?
