Ryan Seacrest to Host Fashion Rocks

Ryan Seacrest will host Fashion Rocks.
The charity event - which will be attended by an impressive array of celebrities - combines the world of fashion with musical performances and will broadcast on CBS for the first time since 2008.
The American Idol presenter can't wait to get on stage at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on September 9 for the event: "I'm always excited to be a part of live events, and Fashion Rocks combines three of my favorite things - music, fashion and New York City." Ryan added that he was determined to "make it an amazing and memorable night."
A huge string of diverse musical performers have already been confirmed for the two-hour extravaganza, including Jennifer Lopez, KISS, Pitbull, The Band Perry, Duran Duran, Afrojack, Miranda Lambert, Rita Ora, and Usher.

Amanda Bynes celebrated her fashion debut with her parents on Friday night.
The actress, who went through a public breakdown last year, looked happy and healthy as she attended a special event for new students held by the prestigious Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. The She's The Man star has just completed her first quarter at the university and seemed back to her bubbly self as she shared a series of photos from the 2014 FIDM Debut on Twitter, including a family snap with her proud parents Rick and Lynn, who have supported her throughout her ordeal.

Kendall Jenner Looks Unrecognizable in Marc Jacobs Show

Makeup really can make all the difference - just as Kendall Jenner.
Sporting bleached brows and a short, brown wig, it was easy to miss the Keeping Up with the Kardashian star in the Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2014 show yesterday.
"I just recently turned 18, so this [Marc Jacobs show] is my big kick-off to start and grow my career. The New York fashion scene is crazy, madness, but I love the energy. I love everything about it - like the hair and makeup today, it’s incredible. I’ve never had my eyebrows bleached; I don’t even look like myself!" she told Into the Gloss.
Turning 18 also helped with the fact that she can now legally show a little more skin these days - which is exactly what she did on the Marc Jacobs runway, modeling a see-through v-neck top with cropped pants (NSFW photo after the jump).

Marc Jacobs to Sell Fragrance for Tweets

Who needs cash when you have a Twitter account?
So says execs for the upcoming Marc Jacobs pop-up shop for New York Fashion Week, anyway. Appropriately titled the Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop, the company will offer visitors goods in exchange for Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook posts with the hashtag "#MJDaisyChain." So while it may be considered free by American monetary standards, the Marc Jacobs products will be paid for with social networking fare.
The shop - which will be open from February 7 to February 9 - comes complete with a lounge, a Daisy photo booth (for your Instagram, of course!), drinks, and Wi-Fi (naturally).
Additionally, "he most creative social media posts" will win Marc Jacobs accessories throughout the day. Sounds like a good deal for any fashionista!

Kanye West Escapes to Paris Fashion Week

Kanye West has escaped to Paris Fashion Week after being accused of assaulting a teenager.
The "Bound 2" hitmaker, who is being investigated by police after allegedly pummelling an 18-year-old man with over 30 blows after he made homophobic and racial slurs at the rapper's fiancee Kim Kardashian in Beverly Hills on Monday, was spotted arriving at Charles De Gaulle international airport in the French capital alone this morning.
"He's in town for fashion week, for the men's shows," a source said.
The rapper is expected to attend his friend Riccardo Tisci's Givenchy show at lunchtime on Friday.
Prosecutors are currently investigating the 36-year-old star, who pled no contest to attacking a photographer in 2008 and still has another battery case pending, for felony assault and battery connected to the incident on Monday.
Heidi Klum has given up lingerie modeling.
The 40-year-old supermodel says she would no longer feel "comfortable" on a catwalk wearing only a bra and briefs: "I wouldn't model with my underwear down the runway anymore. I think I would find it a little uncomfortable, maybe. I still do photoshoots for [magazine] covers and different things or advertising stuff."
The mother of four - who split from her husband, singer Seal, in 2012 and his now in a relationship with her former bodyguard Martin Kristen - also said she is happy to get older and embrace the lines of age rather than have surgery. "I wouldn't say that I love [my crow's feet], but that's just the way it happens, right? We get wrinkles from smiling. I've never had any [cosmetic procedures]. I've been too scared, to be honest with you. I'm scared that all of a sudden you're changing too much, your face starts changing, I don't know. I would have a hard time looking in the mirror and seeing something that I'm not used to seeing. I'd be afraid," she said.

Taylor Swift "didn't fit in" on the Victoria's Secret catwalk, according to model Jessica Hart.
The 23-year-old singer performed at the annual fashion show in New York on Wednesday, but Australian lingerie model Jessica wasn't impressed by her on the runway. When asked if the leggy "I Knew You Were Trouble" star could pull it off as a Victoria's Secret model, Jessica replied bluntly, "No." Speaking to Women's Wear Daily at the after show party, she said, "I think, you know what, God bless her heart. I think she's great. But I don't know, to me, she didn't fit. I don't know if I should say that. I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we've been working for 14, 15 years, what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It's definitely the benchmark of all jobs."
