Christina Applegate has designed a necklace to raise money for charity.

The actress, who has successfully fought breast cancer, has teamed up jewelery designer Alex Woo to create a new pendant in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, with the proceeds going to her Right Action for Women foundation.

“This piece reminds me so much of the roses I made out of ribbons for my friends and family while in the hospital. I am so grateful to Alex for creating such a beautiful piece to benefit Right Action for Women. Proceeds from the necklace will help women at high risk for breast cancer get the screenings and testing they need to beat this disease,” said Christina, who is pregnant with her first child.

The tree and branches within the pendant come in either gold and silver and represent balance, peace, harmony and the curves of a woman, while the seven leaves are designed to signify each day of the week, reminding women to live everyday to the fullest. The necklace can be purchased from alexwoo.com.

Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2011

Roberto Cavalli put on a striking jungle-themed collection at the closing day of yesterday.

The Italian style stalwart welcomed guests including Heidi Klum, Leona Lewis and Taylor Swift to the front row of the show, which was held in a glass tent. The celebrities saw a collection heavy on tight trousers, snakeskin, and a palette of pale pink, brown and light blue, with all the models styled with long, straight hair and dark eyes.

CK One

Calvin Klein is to turn its CK One fragrance into a global lifestyle brand. The fashion house is keen to attract a younger customer base so will launch jeans, underwear and swimwear at more affordable prices, thought to be around 15 to 20 percent lower than Calvin Klein Jeans and Underwear.

“I think it could be bigger than CK Calvin Klein. CK is our bridge division in apparel and accessories, which we operate only in Europe and Asia at this time. By the price positioning of bridge, there is some limitation on how big that business can be. The focus and concept of ck one is young and sexy, and to some degree price-driven. The price points are lower than in bridge, and this is a global launch, which gives CK One the opportunity to be a much bigger business over time,” said Calvin Klein Inc’s president and CEO Tom Murry.

Prada Spring/Summer 2011 put on a wedding dress-inspired collection in their Milan Fashion Week show yesterday.

The Italian designers sent models down the catwalk in see-through white lace pieces, with modesty guarded by Bridget Jones-style underwear.

The show was in complete contrast to ‘s collection, which saw a vibrant array of colored dresses and suits sashaying their way down the runway. Reds, oranges, dark greens and deep blues made up the majority of the outfits - as well as an unusual banana print - while voluminous arms seem to be a key-trend. They did, however, also have a selection of black dresses to satisfy their more traditional customer.

Kylie Minogue, Naomi Campbell and Jada Pinkett Smith were among the big-name stars in attendance at the Italian shows, taking in the likes of Jil Sander, Bottega Veneta and Fendi. Fashionistas will next be heading to Paris for the French capital’s runway shows, with collections from Gareth Pugh, Balenciaga, Lanvin, Christian Dior, Celine and Chanel all taking place this week.

Jada Pinkett-Smith and daughter Willow

It looks as if Willow Smith’s older brother’s movie premiere was just the beginning.

The pint-sized fashionista was spotted at making it clear that her interest in the style industry is no joke.

With a love of feline prints, punky shoes, and a whole lot of attitude, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a collection of hers at JCPenney or Macy’s sometime soon…

Naomi Campbell with Lily Allen insists she is a lot healthier than when she first started her career.

The supermodel, who celebrated 25 years in the fashion industry with an exclusive party last week, says she is now taking care of herself and has never felt better. “I feel healthier. My whole diet is different; I feel that my thoughts are clearer now.”

Throughout her illustrious career, Naomi has worked with many photographers but says it’s impossible to pick out a favorite: “No, there isn’t a favorite because they’re all at different times of my life and they’re a timeline of my life, they all mean a lot to me. Of course, Herb Ritts is no longer with us but Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Tom Munro, David Tang - they’re all different and important.”

Naomi also revealed her excitement at seeing more black models in the industry because there were hardly any when she first started out. “It’s a lot better than it was. I’m impressed with in New York. I have to see the end of fashion week in London to know but it’s been really great so far.”

Helen Mirren at a recent red carpet eventDame Helen Mirren holds her stomach in to make her look good. The 65-year-old actress is often applauded for her toned midriff and says the secret behind it is to make sure she’s breathing in at all times.

“Holding your tummy in is another trick for making you look and feel good. I don’t know why, but I do, by nature, hold my tummy in.”

Although she has been happy to strip off in many movies, Helen admits she’s not entirely comfortable with her body and dresses to flatter it: “Bits of my body are all right, but bits of me are horrible. To be honest, anything from the waist down I don’t really like. Four-inch platforms give you great height and make your legs look unbelievably long. I used only to be able to get them in stripper shops, but now you can buy them everywhere - although, unfortunately, that means everyone else has discovered the trick too.”

The Oscar-winning actress also hit out designers who don’t cater for older women.“My big complaint is, why aren’t more dresses made with sleeves? I don’t want to wear a frumpy jacket over a sleeveless dress and it enrages me that it’s so difficult to find anything beautiful with sleeves. If you think of Elizabethan dresses or turn-of-the-century fashions, there are some amazing things you can do with sleeves, so why do so few designers put them on their dresses?”
