Amber Le BonAmber Le Bon isn’t against wearing fur as long as the animal has had a “nice, clean death.”

The British model - who has fronted campaigns for the likes of Moschino in the past - revealed she takes a pragmatic approach to wearing fur, and prefers to know how the animal has been killed before she decides whether to wear an item of clothing made from real fur.

“I do like vintage fur but I think if you’re buying new fur you need to know how it’s been killed. You want to know that the animal had a nice, clean death. You’re not going to feel great if you know the animal has been half-dead for a week.”

The 21-year-old star admitted her relaxed attitude to wearing clothes made from animal skin stems from the fact that she would rather not “waste” creatures which have already been killed. “I don’t like cruelty to animals, but I’m not a vegetarian and I’d rather be using a whole animal than wasting it.”

Tamara Mellon is to launch a Jimmy Choo fragrance.

The shoe tycoon is to launch the perfume next year after having signed a 12-year contract with Inter Parfums, the company responsible for the scents of fashion houses Burberry, Lanvin and Paul Smith. Rumors of a fragrance have been circulating within the fashion world for some time, and Mellon has made no secret of the fact that she believes that a perfume is an “integral part of the modern wardrobe.”

“It has always been my vision to fully accessorize the woman, and fragrance is an integral part of the modern wardrobe. I look forward to bringing this important aspect of my vision to life.”

Elsewhere in the Jimmy Choo empire, the British businesswoman - who currently owns a fifth of the firm - recently dismissed reports she was planning to sell the company, which is believed to be worth $800 million.

Heidi KlumFashion model-turned-entrepreneur has launched her debut fashion collection in New York.

The German supermodel wore one of her own dresses to the launch of the range in conjunction with New Balance - which includes tunics, tops and leggings - although she is most proud of the basics the set provides.

“Finding and making the perfect basic is a major challenge, and I think with this collection we rose up to that challenge. I think this collection does achieve that perfect blend of versatility and uniqueness.”

The 37-year-old beauty claims she is “excited” to be selling the range on Amazon.com because she loves the stress free atmosphere of online shopping: “I love the convenience of shopping online on my own time and having packages delivered to my doorstep - it doesn’t get much easier than that.”

Vice President of Amazon Cathy Beaudoin also believes the range will be popular with mothers as Heidi knows what it is they need. “Like so many of our customers, Heidi is a busy mum who cares about fashion and ease in equal measure. The line is amazing - gorgeous fabrics, incredibly styled - and we’re thrilled to be launching it in the Amazon Clothing Store.”

Kanye WestLindsay Lohan’s critically-slammed collaboration with Ungaro put off creating a fashion line.

The rapper described the designing efforts of the troubled actress - whose Spring/Summer 2010 collection for the French fashion house was heavily criticized - as “9/11 for celebrities doing fashion,” as it made him realize he wasn’t capable of creating a line himself.

“Did you not see the Lindsay and Ungaro collection? That was 9/11 for celebrities doing fashion. After that I thought, ‘Well I can’t do a line now.’ There are so many ups and downs, hurts and pains in fashion. It’s extremely frustrating, because I do have opinions on color palettes and fabrics, but do I have the time to pick out every belt buckle?”

The hip-hop star revealed meeting Chanel’s creative director in Paris made him realize the only way he could make a fashion collection work would be if he were closely involved with a designer.

“These women would die for Karl, they were so into perfecting that next dress, which no one else could make. I don’t have 20 years of fashion experience, and my father wasn’t a tailor able to train me. The only way it would work was if I sat next to a designer.”

Renee Zellweger in Harper's BazaarA-list actress always chooses gowns by the same designer for red carpet events.

The Oscar-winning actress admits that when it comes to big events, she always goes to Carolina Herrera, as she trusts the “classic” tailoring of the Venezuelan-born fashion designer.

“It’s classic. It’s beautifully tailored. No surprises.”

However, the 41-year-old star revealed she doesn’t select pieces by Carolina Herrera only for their aesthetic charm, but because she would feel too guilty if she had a whole host of designers creating pieces she would never end up wearing: “I can’t have 90 people making things for me that I might not wear. To have so many people expend so much effort potentially for nothing - I wouldn’t sleep at night.”

The slim star - who in the past has been known to stick to a strict macrobiotic diet of fish and vegetables - has reportedly put on 10lbs in recent months after boyfriend told her he likes women with “a little more meat on their bones.”

“She banned dairy a long time ago but Bradley loves ice cream and cheese and Renee’s started to join in. Potatoes are back on the menu, too. Bradley’s convinced her to loosen up and she’s loving it. Bradley’s been very vocal in telling her he’s more attracted to women with a little meat on their bones and Renee’s doing her best to oblige him.”

Sarah Jessica Parker

‘s fashion fairy godmother was not smiling down on her the night she went to the New York City Ballet fall gala.

Perhaps the winter weather distorted Parker’s innate fashion skills, causing her to dress in this long, sequined, nude catastrophe. And what is with her bag? Should her subtle look be locked up, or would Carrie Bradshaw approve?

Reality star-turned-writer is taking to the internet (with the help of Ryan Seacrest) to promote her latest book, Style.

In her PSA, Conrad targets “fashion f****-ups,” in which she uses Anna Wintour‘s face to cover up the expletive. As humorous as it is and as much as I agree, I find it hard to listen to fashion advice from someone whose style mostly consists of flip-flops, jeans, and simple dresses. Her boldest fashion move was a Moschino dress at the MTV Movie Awards!

If you do happen to like her styling tips, her book is now available in stores.
