UPDATE: In case you thought this was fake, Steve Jobs just confirmed that our 1.1.3 coverage is real in his MacWorld 2008 keynote.
Our iPhone 1.1.3 news has been blowing up the Internet. Quite a few people think the images in our iPhone 1.1.3 image gallery were fake, so we figured, why not put up a video? Here is our video proof that iPhone 1.1.3 firmware is, in fact, real. Any questions you want answered about it? Let us know in our iPhone 1.1.3 thread. By the way, if you are looking for an excellent program to create custom ringtones for your iPhone, check out iPhone RingToneMaker.
Meantime, the video shows you all the features that we have found (so far) in the 1.1.3 update. That includes the home screen shuffling and reorganizing of the icons, the multi-person SMS sending, the new “Locate Me” feature in the Google Maps application, Hybrid mode in Google Maps, and creating web bookmarks and putting them on your home screen.
At the end of the video, we show you the Gear Live custom painted iPhone that we will be giving away to one of you viewers, courtesy of Monster Cable.

you could have easily cleared up any speculation by showing the firmware number in the settings app on the close up demonstration. Not to mention, clearing up why it says ?Nate? instead of ?AT&T;?. A lot of people have made assumptions about why it says Nate, but a video confirmation would be much more appropriate I would think. www.DIRECTSTARTV.com

Is that mean you can unlocked the iphone (1.1.3 updated) or may be just activate it to use like an itouch, if yes then can you show us how to do it with the 1.1.2 bootloader 4.06 (already jailbroken) And where can i get the 1.1.3 firmware ?

Something I don't quit get is that password thing. Do you mean by that that the firmware update could/will be performed on your iphone without asking the user's permission? Which in other words woulde be like: you connect your iphone, itunes starts and updates the iphone without any possibility to either prevent that from happening or stopping the procedure? Please do forgive me as I am not native English (I'm Flemish you see), so some in that part you just lost me ;)

Very promising. The new features do take a while to be realesed kinda like the PSP but, the features are well thought out and nicely intergrated, you can tell the time and though have going into these updates. The iPhone 2.0 will be the same process I think. Always trying to better the device.

Great video but I'm still curious if 1.1.3 FW will help us 1.1.2 OTB FW iPhone user's to now unlock them? Thanks

This looks great. Any sign that voice dialing is now included on the iPhone? I have been waiting to buy an iPhone to see if this feature is available. I have a Treo w/WM 6.0, it is basicly a brick but the revised voice dialing works great. Thanks.
