The 48-year-old supermodel has confirmed she is departing the show as presenter but will remain on the NBC program as executive producer, and the blonde beauty is "very proud" to have been part of its inaugural series: "I have been involved with Fashion Star from the beginning, and am very proud to see it come to life, not only in America but globally. The show is in great hands, and although I will not be hosting this season, I will still be very involved [and] will be reviewing the format for the upcoming season," she told The New York Post.

But Elle is not the only one leaving the program, as co-sponsor H&M have ruled out returning for a second season after insiders revealed the high street store decided the reality show was no longer a good fit.

Britney Spears on 'The X Factor'Simon Cowell believes Britney Spears is a "fearless" X Factor judge.

The "Toxic" singer joined the judging panel of the show alongside Demi Lovato following Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger's exit after one series, and the music mogul claims Britney is excellent because she is not swayed by anyone else's opinion.

"Britney is fearless. She has no qualms about turning down a contestant. To get a, 'No' out of Paula, as you know, was like getting blood out of a stone because she didn't want to be unpopular. Britney will turn people down even if 4,000 people are going crazy about the contestant," he said.

Simon also praised Demi, who he finds often gangs up with Britney: "When the two of them get together and me and L.A. Reid want someone to go through, these two, they gang up. And that's what happens when you put two girls together!"

The second season of the The X Factor will premiere on September 12.

Alec Baldwin and Salma HayekSalma Hayek has promised to return to 30 Rock.

The actress appeared in the third season of the comedy for a multi-episode arc portraying Elisa, the girlfriend of NBC executive Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin), and creator Tina Fey has made her commit to a return before the show finishes its seventh and final season.

"I tried to tell Salma Hayek that she has to come back. She said that she would and I'm going to hold her to that," Tina told Entertainment Weekly.

Salma isn't the only star on Tina's "bucket list," she also hopes to lure Michael Sheen, Isabella Rossellini and other guest stars back to the show: "There are going to be people that we've always wanted to have on that we haven't, for various reasons, been able to yet. Or characters we've enjoyed so much that we want to bring back at some point before we leave. I always wanted to get Michael Benjamin Washington back on who played Donald Jordan, the older son. Of course we want to get Dennis Duffy in at some point. I'd love to get Michael Sheen to come back as Wesley Snipes. I'd love to get Isabella Rossellini back because we were reminding ourselves that Jack was married before, and she was a very pivotal character once."

Bruce JennerBruce Jenner regrets sharing his stepdaughter's wedding with the world.

The former Olympic athlete - who is married to Kris Jenner - admitted that Kim Kardashian's ill-fated marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries would have been best kept under wraps.

"The only thing [I wish I could take back that the public has seen], the whole wedding thing. We went so overboard on that. And the way it turned out and everything," she said.

However, Bruce claimed that the extravagance of their ceremony was out of genuine love at the time but their feeling changed rapidly: "And, because I mean at the time it was honest...I mean, I was all in, you know? But then it turned so quickly."

When asked by Oprah if he believed the marriage was going to work, Bruce didn't say he believed it would but confided that he rooted for it to last.
Bruce said, "I was hoping it would work."

Demi Lovato with Simon Cowell and Britney SpearsDemi Lovato is tired of being nagged by Simon Cowell

The 19-year-old singer admits the X Factor chief tries to keep her and fellow panelists L.A. Reid and Britney Spears in line during filming of the talent search contest, but she isn't afraid to stand up to his bossiness.

"Simon's great, but he nags on me so much that I don't know if I can take it any longer. I'm a brat. I'm annoying. But I give it back to him," she said.

While Demi has clashed with Simon, she has made a firm friend in L.A., who says they will be best friends forever (BFFs): "Britney is such a massive star that it's slightly intimidating. She's really sweet, just really loving and charming, but she's intimidating because she's such a big star. [Demi] is like my BBF for life. BFFL. She's really too good to be so young."

Ryan SeacrestRyan Seacrest was "shocked" when he saw Kourtney Kardashian's labor footage.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians executive producer admits it was difficult to find a balance on how much detail to broadcast when the reality TV star gave birth to her son Mason, now two, and thinks the brunette beauty would have "loved" for the unedited film to have been screened.

"I remember looking at the raw footage of Kourtney having Mason, the baby. I'd never seen a delivery in that much detail. Half of me was interested, but I was shocked that she essentially reached down and delivered her own baby. And I was like, 'How much are we going to show of this?' And I realized that they were more qualified women to make this decision. She would have loved for us to air the entire thing. But I remember thinking, 'How far do we go?'"

Ryan is pleased with the "complete turn" which Kourtney's boyfriend Scott Disick has made in recent years to the extent he is now a firm favorite with fans: "He's become a very popular character. He's made a complete turn. I've seen him out, and people walk right past me and go take a picture with him. They are very excited to see him."

Sharon Osbourne

Sharon Osbourne broke down in tears on The Talk yesterday morning. The showbiz matriarch couldn't keep her emotions in check when she spoke to thank fans for their messages of support following the news that her 26-year-old son Jack has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

"He's great - he's doing really, really good and I want to thank everyone for all their texts and goodwill and love they send to us. Thank you to everyone for all their good wishes. It's been amazing - but for Jack because I really believe that vibes of prayer help. And what I'm doing right now is not helping because I'm just feeling sorry for myself, and that is no good. So we just have to think positively and get on with this show that we love," she said in between sobs.

Charlie SheenCharlie Sheen will retire when Anger Management comes to an end.

The 46-year-old actor sees his forthcoming new comedy show as his "swan song," and rather than looking for further acting work, he is looking forward to spending more time with his five kids - Cassandra, 27, Sam, eight, Lola, seven, and two-year-old twins Bob and Max - when the program eventually draws to a close.

"When I'm done with this business it's just going to be about soccer games and amusement parks. And when [Anger Management] ends, I'm done. This is my swan song. I've been doing this 30 years. And there's a lot more out there to do than make-believe, you know? I mean, I'm grateful. I've got a dream life as a direct result of television, you know? But at some point you just get tired of wearing somebody else's clothes, saying somebody else's words and working in somebody else's space. I'm also aware of the fact that you don't get these kinds of shots in the same lifetime. You're only supposed to have one hit show, unless you're Kelsey Grammer."
