MONDAY (3/24)
- How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8:30): The overly-promoted Britney Spears cameo finally airs tonight. Let’s just be happy the show is only 30-minutes long.
- Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious (CW, 9pm): Nicole Scherzinger gives the girls tips on vocal expression. Sadly, advice on releasing solo albums is not something she can dish out.
- CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm): New episode. “A bride is murdered at her wedding. The investigation takes the CSIs to a strip club where the bachelor party took place.” Strip club? This would be the perfect time for another Elizabeth Berkley appearance.
- The Hills (MTV, 10pm): Season premiere. I wonder if LC wore any of her own designs in Paris. Doubt it.

Amy Poehler’s Fierce Impression of Christian Siriano
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Late Night, NBC, Saturday Night Live, Video,
In case you didn’t catch Saturday Night Live this past weekend, here was the best part of what was yet another unevenly funny program.
In addition to Amy Poehler’s imitation of Project Runway winner Christian Siriano, we get cameos from ‘Tim Gunn’ and ‘Heidi Klum’.
(UPDATE: Real-life Christian apparently enjoyed the skit as well.)

MONDAY (3/10)
- The Bachelor: Where Are They Now? (ABC, 8pm): “Highlights from past seasons include segments catching up with past bachelors (Andrew Firestone and Aaron Buerge) and former contestants.” So the whole point of the show is to say there is no point to this show. Look at how successful it’s been!
- Canterbury’s Law (FOX, 8pm): Series premiere. “Julianna Margulies stars as a maverick defense lawyer who plays by her own rules to help the falsely accused.” I’m guessing ER will still be on long after this program goes off the air.
- New Amsterdam (FOX, 9pm): Regular day and time. If you didn’t watch last Tuesday or Thursday, I’m sure you won’t tonight either.
- October Road (ABC, 9pm): Special time. In the season (series?) finale, “Eddie’s ex-girlfriend shows up to reconnect with him, causing problems in his relationship with Janet.” Since we may never get a satisfactory resolution from this ratings-starved show, let’s just pretend Janet kicks her ass.

Christian Siriano Has a Date with Posh Spice
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Bravo, Cable, Gossip, News,
Were any of you wondering about Victoria Beckham’s comments on Project Runway the other night? Would she really wear Christian Siriano‘s designs…or was she just paying him lip service?
Well, it seems Posh Spice was being totally sincere. Or, at the very least, she’s willing to talk to Siriano again. In an interview with People, the 21-year-old winner revealed that he already has appointment to see Beckham very soon.
“I’ll be seeing her next week, so I made her a few dresses. Hopefully she likes them, so we’ll see how it goes. After the filming, we chatted and she really said some amazing things. And it’s such an honor because she can wear any designer she wants.”

Christian Siriano Wins Project Runway Season 4
Posted by Jacci Lewis Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Bravo, Cable, Editorial, News,
Christian Siriano is officially kind of a big deal tonight. The 21-year-old freelance fashion designer accomplished two major goals: his collection won Project Runway: Season 4 and he made guest judge Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham smile. In fact, the usually enigmatic pop star told Siriano she’d love to wear anything he designed.
It is no secret that Season 4 of Project Runway lacked the drama and suspense of past years. There was no big twist in the final show either- no extra “look” to cobble together in the 11th hour, no scandals involving outside sewing help and no shouting matches between fellow designers. But what the show lacked in reality TV drama it more than made up for in sophistication and style. Each of the three remaining designers offered something new and fresh to the usually jaded fashion world.

Why Christian Must Win Project Runway Season 4
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Bravo, Editorial, Gossip,
With the season finale of Bravo’s trendiest reality show, Project Runway around the corner, fans across America are almost divided between the top two finalists, Christian Siriano and Jillian Lewis. I am here to tell you exactly why Christian must absolutely win this competition.
To begin, let’s talk about Rami Kashou. Throughout the show, Rami’s designs have been good. Sometimes they were too good, and no one knew just why until last week’s episode explained why: he’s already an established designer! Unlike the other three contestants who were living in poor New York studios, Rami had his own studio. Not only that, but his collections are in fifteen boutiques in both L.A. and New York. To top it all off, he has clothed Jessica Alba (his piece is actually in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Dita Von Teese, Paula Abdul, and Paris Hilton, to name a few. Why the hell is this guy on the show in the first place?!

MONDAY (3/3)
- The Royal Family (ABC, 8pm): Barbara Walters hosts a special that documents a year in the lives of the British royal family. Wow - they’re letting people get to know them better? That’s such a Diana move.
- Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX, 8pm): “In the two-hour finale, John and Derek are at odds over whether Cameron can be trusted.” Meanwhile, I’m still trying to figure out whether I’ll miss the show.
- Welcome to the Captain (CBS, 8:30): “Marty gets Josh an interview with the president of Paramount.” At least one of them will have a job when the show’s cancelled.
- The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS, 9:30): “Matthew goes to therapy to discuss intimacy issues and learns he is too dependent on his sister.” Did anyone else shudder when they read that sentence?

Quarterlife Already Yanked from NBC Schedule
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Bravo, Cable, NBC, Cancellations, Internet, News, Ratings,
Question: What dubious honor do Anchorwoman and quarterlife have in common? Answer: They’re both one-and-out shows.
After just one airing, NBC has already decided to pull the plug on its experimental project. (Apparently the network wasn’t feeling quite daring anymore.) Quarterlife - a project created by My So-Called Life‘s Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick - was an internet hit long before it hit the boob tube this week. The Peacock execs, thinking the series’ built-in popularity would bring insta-ratings, gave the show a special debut earlier this week with plans to have it regularly air on Sunday nights. Unfortunately, the idea was far too ambitious for its fickle viewers.
The show’s premiere gave NBC its lowest ratings in the Tuesday 10pm slot in approximately 17 years. While I would usually chide a network for giving up so easily, in this case, I can’t say I blame them. If the program couldn’t succeed in SVU‘s regular time slot, where would it?
Those still interested in watching quarterlife play out can either find it on the web or on its new home - Bravo (NBC’s sister station).

Project Runway Season 4: Chris March Eliminated By A Hair, Literally
Posted by Jacci Lewis Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Bravo, Cable, Editorial, News,
An innovative use of safety pins and hair, yes human hair, just weren’t enough to land San Francisco costume designer Chris March the third and final spot in the Project Runway: Season 4 final runway show.
The 44-year-old March was up against 31-year-old Los Angeles designer Rami Kashou in a sort of semi-final walk-off before the last official runway show, the big one at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City’s Bryant Park. Freelance fashion wunderkind Christian Soriano and Ralph Lauren illustrator Jillian Lewis already secured their spots during the “Art to Fashion” challenge in episode 11.
Tonight’s episode began with a rundown of the final challenge and a reminder of what’s at stake if they win. The final challenge had the designers creating a 12-piece collection. They got $8000 for materials and 5 months to complete their garments. The winner of Project Runway: Season 4 gets a coveted spread in Elle magazine, $100,000, a Saturn Astra and a chance to sell their line on Bluefly.com.

Project Runway Season 4 Reunion: Christian Named Fan Favorite
Posted by Jacci Lewis Categories: Prime Time, Reality, Bravo, Editorial,
Apparently it pays to remind people over and over that ‘you’re fierce and kind of a big deal’. That strategy netted Project Runway:Season 4 contestant Christian Siriano a cool $10,000. Siriano was voted this season’s “Fan Favorite” by a landslide. The results were unveiled during tonight’s Project Runway: Season 4 reunion show.
This season of the show featured some incredibly talented and professional designers. While it didn’t have the same sexy mix of volatile characters (see Wendy Pepper in season 1 or Santino Rice in season 2), the clothes themselves were fascinating as was watching the process that these talented designers used to come up with them. Not surprisingly, some of the designers have become role models for young children and even favorites of celebrities. Kit talked about how young girls are emailing her scans of their designs to ask for advice. She says she loves being a positive influence. Lovable kook Elisa also said she loves the message she seems to be sending young girls that it is okay to be different. Sweet P, who was eliminated in the last episode, said she’s heard from celebrities like Jack Black and Catherine Keener that she was their favorite on the show.
