Watching the free version of CBS’ Big Brother 9 versus the subscription-based 24/7 live feeds is a little like my ongoing attempt to catch up on all the episodes of Lost I’ve missed over the years. There are so many things that have happened that I don’t understand. Is it a flashback, a flash-forward, present time—and what the hell happened to Walt? I’m SO confused!
If it weren’t for YouTube providing the really exciting clips of stuff that happens in the BB9 house, I’d be totally in the dark because the CBS episodes that air 3 times a week rarely include any of the good stuff in a timely manner.
Anyway, tonight’s episode saw Head of Household couple Chelsia and James nominate Alex and Amanda and Natalie and Matt for eviction. Alex and Amanda are the real target, Natalie and Matt are said to be the pawns. Also, Sheila and Allison came clean about the lie they told on Day 3 that they’re a lesbian couple and half the house ended up eating slop after a food competition.

Wednesday Ratings: Viewers Less Interested in the Truth

- Deal or No Deal (11 million, 2.7/7) reeled in 3 million more than last week.
- Big Brother 9 (2.1/5) only roped in 5.8 million for its Wednesday debut.
- Wife Swap (5.4 million, 1.9/5) traded away 1.2 million.
- An America’s Next Top Model special (0.7/2) only highlighted 1.4 million.

Big Brother 9: First Eviction Night

The first eviction night this season for Big Brother 9 saw one unexpected couple go home and another take the reigns of power as the new Heads of Household.
First the eviction: Jen, the Ohio bartender and Parker, the celebrity photographer from Los Angeles won the sole power to evict in the premiere episode. It seemed pretty clear then that total mismatch couple, Sheila and Adam, would be sent packing. But in a strange twist of fate Jacob, the ex-Marine from Georgia proved that he is an even BIGGER tool than Adam. He took his unfortunate partner and bitter ex-girlfriend Sharon with him out the door.
