MONDAY (3/24)
- How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8:30): The overly-promoted Britney Spears cameo finally airs tonight. Let’s just be happy the show is only 30-minutes long.
- Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious (CW, 9pm): Nicole Scherzinger gives the girls tips on vocal expression. Sadly, advice on releasing solo albums is not something she can dish out.
- CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm): New episode. “A bride is murdered at her wedding. The investigation takes the CSIs to a strip club where the bachelor party took place.” Strip club? This would be the perfect time for another Elizabeth Berkley appearance.
- The Hills (MTV, 10pm): Season premiere. I wonder if LC wore any of her own designs in Paris. Doubt it.

Thursday Ratings: NCAA Scores for CBS
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Games, Music, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, Sports, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, Apprentice, The - Donald, Lost, Ratings,
Last night, we saw a good match between NBC and CBS. Although the Peacock network was a winner with the viewers, the Eye network snagged the title for the demos.
8pm
- Deal or No Deal (2.6/8 in 18-49) dialed up 10.2 million for a rare Thursday appearance.
- The NCAA tournament (3.3/9) averaged 8.4 million for the evening.
- Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (7.3 million, 2.2/7) failed by 2 million.
- Miss Guided (6.3 million, 2.2/7) did better than last week’s Lost repeat.
- Smallville (3.4 million, 1.4/4) went downhill by 400,000.

MONDAY (3/17)
- Dancing with the Stars (ABC, 8pm): Tonight’s Season 6 premiere focuses only on the men. I think it’s safe to say Julianne Hough won’t be making it a three-peat with Adam Carolla.
- The Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8pm): New episode. “Sheldon and Leonard are asked to a physics conference to present their work together.” I’ve always wondered - if this show were to air on any other day, would it be half as successful?
- How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8:30): New episode. “Ted decides to live life like Barney on St. Patrick’s Day.” You don’t want to know what they use as their lucky charms.
- Two and a Half Men (CBS, 9pm): New episode. “Charlie teaches Alan how to break up with a woman.” I hear hiring prostitutes can make a woman leave you.
- The Bachelor (ABC, 9:30): Season 12 premiere. “Bachelor Matt Grant, a 27-year-old British financier, meets his 25 would-be soul mates.” Apparently in America, you can finally afford to woo twice as many women as you can in the UK.

MONDAY (3/10)
- The Bachelor: Where Are They Now? (ABC, 8pm): “Highlights from past seasons include segments catching up with past bachelors (Andrew Firestone and Aaron Buerge) and former contestants.” So the whole point of the show is to say there is no point to this show. Look at how successful it’s been!
- Canterbury’s Law (FOX, 8pm): Series premiere. “Julianna Margulies stars as a maverick defense lawyer who plays by her own rules to help the falsely accused.” I’m guessing ER will still be on long after this program goes off the air.
- New Amsterdam (FOX, 9pm): Regular day and time. If you didn’t watch last Tuesday or Thursday, I’m sure you won’t tonight either.
- October Road (ABC, 9pm): Special time. In the season (series?) finale, “Eddie’s ex-girlfriend shows up to reconnect with him, causing problems in his relationship with Janet.” Since we may never get a satisfactory resolution from this ratings-starved show, let’s just pretend Janet kicks her ass.

In only its second outing, New Amsterdam saw a 20% decline. Despite the great lead-in, the FOX series couldn’t compete against Lost.

- Survivor (12.6 million, 4.0/10) was on track with last Thursday.

Thursday Ratings: Lost Continues to Slide
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Games, Music, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, American Idol, Apprentice, The - Donald, Lost, Survivor, The Office, Ratings,
Maybe last night’s episode was a bit too confusing? Whatever the reason, Lost is returning to old ways and starting to see declining numbers. (Not that it would have been able to stop FOX anyway.)
8pm
- Approximately 25.9 million said goodbye to another four on American Idol (9.1/24 in 18-49).
- The same audience saw the same person exiled on Survivor: Micronesia (12.5 million, 4.2/11).
- Lost* (5.2 million, 1.6/4) had 200,000 wander away.
- About 4.1 million checked in with The Office* (1.8/5).
- Smallville* made a showing with 1.8 million (0.7/2).

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Music, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, Specials, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, American Idol, Ratings,
Last night, the Peacock network gave audiences a special glimpse of its new show, Quarterlife. (Its scheduled to regularly air on Sundays.) Unfortunately, viewers were apparently too busy having a life to watch.
8pm
- Approximately 28.4 million watched the Top 10 Men on American Idol (11.0/27 in 18-49).
- NCIS* (11.2 million, 2.1/5) grew slightly from last week.
- The Biggest Loser (8.1 million, 3.1/8) did about the same as a week ago.
- Just for Laughs (4.7 million, 1.3/3) remained fairly even.
- Reaper* (1.8 million, 0/7/2) repeated its last performance.

- NCIS* (10.8 million, 2.1/5) did about one-third as well as the monster hit.
