Shannen DohertyAlthough she was originally signed on for only four episodes, it looks like 90210 may be graced with more Shannen Doherty appearances this season.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Shannen will be adding two more episodes to her IMDB profile. While the deal has not yet been confirmed, its reportedly just a matter of her signing on the dotted line.

Meanwhile, another Beverly Hills, 90210 alum has just agreed to put in some hours on the CW set. Jason Priestley - who still has no current intentions to be in front of the camera - is now scheduled to direct the drama’s 18th episode. That hour is expected to air sometime in the spring.

Fringe Gets Full Season Order

FringeAfter four weeks of impressive numbers, FOX has gone ahead and made it official: is now being given a full season.

Since premiering last month, the J.J. Abrams series has shown improvement from week to week. Not including the large spike on the night of House‘s debut, the show has grown steadily from 9 million to 9.9 million viewers.

The network’s “back nine” order makes Fringe the second fall show to be extended. Last week, CW requested a full season of 90210.

America’s Next Top Model 11: Natural Beauty

ANTM logo

On this week’s episode of , the girls learned how quickly the game could change. With just one roll of film, a model could either sink to the bottom or vault to the top.

Who was confident that they could change…and who was confident that things wouldn’t change? Read on!

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 11: Fierce Eyes

Just when I thought I had seen everything on , the producers decided to throw in a new twist. And surprisingly, it didn’t have anything to do with Tyra. This week, one girl was eliminated before reaching the show’s halfway mark. (No photo shoot, no judges panel…nada.) Make no mistakes—Season 11’s gonna be ruthless!

In this episode, the women were finally given the chance to show off their version of a runway walk. But since simple strutting down an actual runway would be too easy, Miss J had to spice things up a bit. This time around, the ladies were taken to a bowling alley where they were given special high-heeled bowling shoes. (Cue Hannah: “I didn’t even know they made stuff like that!”) Since models are often asked to walk on different types of surfaces, the challenge was to master the slick bowling lanes.

Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup

Earlier today, original rumor-enshrouded magazine queen Shannen Doherty spoke up on the topic of her skinny co-stars.

While on ’s radio show, Doherty addressed the current gossip goings-on surrounding skinny minnies Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup (Annie and Silver on the show). “I see those girls and they eat on the set, so I’m pretty sure they’re not starving themselves,” Doherty stated.

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 11: You’re Beautiful, Now Change

What is traditionally one of my favorite parts of was once again tainted by an overdramatic – and unnecessary – Tyra performance. Couldn’t she just let the makeover episode speak for itself? Couldn’t she let the cameras focus on the actual competitors?

When the girls returned home from the last elimination, they were surprised to find their head judge waiting inside for them. While there was a purpose for Tyra’s presence, the hostess used the opportunity to display her tiara and her lame acting skills. After explaining how she and her mother “made over” her modeling career (she turned to Sports Ilustrated when she was deemed too fat by high-fashion designers), she then told the ladies that it was time for their makeovers.

Shannen Doherty Off the 90210 Set

Shannen Doherty

’s first stint on Beverly Hills, 90210 lasted four short years. Doherty’s time on the new 90210 spin-off will last only for four episodes. And suddenly, I’m no longer at all excited about this series.

This week’s episode was rather dismal - lacking Doherty completely, as it did - focusing mainly on Kelly’s sister Silver and her bad home life. Naomi also discovered that her father is cheating on her mother - and her mother doesn’t care (how Beverly Hills is that). Kelly dropped precious few hints about the paternity of her child. Her and the father had a “history” together in High School, evidently - which still leaves the possibilities at three, though I’m still rooting for Steve.

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 11: The Ladder of Model Success

ANTM logo

On this week’s episode of , the ladies learned the importance of making a good first impression. One girl said a few things she shouldn’t say, one girl placed a product in a place she shouldn’t put it, and another girl put off her roomies thanks to an off-putting remark.

But what does any of that have to do with modeling, right?

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 11: Top Model Inauguration

America's Next Top Model Cycle 11

For the 11th cycle of , the CW wasted no time in getting viewers drawn into the drama. In addition to the annual selection episode, Week 1 consisted of a bonus elimination hour.

Since the 14 finalists (including a transgendered contestant) were revealed to the media weeks ago, there’s really little need to detail the events of the show’s anti-climatic first half. So let’s just move on to meaty portion of the competition, shall we?

90210 review: Old Zip, New Drama

90210 Cast

That’s right, the wait is finally over. After keeping their new spin-off tightly under wraps, the CW premiered last night for two solid hours. The network refused to send out media copies, sparking rumors that the show is so terrible it was necessary to keep everything a secret.

Or was it just so fabulous that the CW wanted to surprise us all? Slick, polished production, beautiful sets and great costumes immediately impressed, but I was careful to hold my opinion until I learned a little something about the script.

Oh, who am I kidding? I was hooked right away, the very first second, and frothing at the mouth to see ’s entrance. I waited for that little moment, like everyone else, for exactly one hour and twenty-right minutes.
