UPDATE: Cee Lo has confirmed that he has recorded a new version of "F**k You" with Paltrow.

Late last month, singer Cee Lo Green teased that he and Gwyneth Paltrow -- who covered his song "Forget You" on an episode of Glee -- would collaborate on something "extra cool" in the future. Now, we have a better idea what that "surprise" is.

One day after (sorta) confirming a duet to Good Morning America's Robin Roberts (see the video above), it was officially announced that Gwyneth and Cee Lo would both be appearing on the January 15 broadcast of Saturday Night Live. (Their visits will come one week after Jim Carrey and The Black Keys share that NBC stage.)

Is it safe to say a joint musical number between Paltrow and Green is a foregone conclusion?

BTW -- if you want a preview of what Gwyneth's singing could look like that night, check out her musical performance on yesterday's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Snooki was present in Time Square, along with her fellow Jersey Shore cast members … but wasn’t she supposed to be in New Jersey? The reality star’s ball drop did go on the air as planned -- because it was recorded the night before.

Snooki’s ball was removed from Time Square after officials decided that only one ball would be dropping in New York’s famous block. Instead, the Snooks was dropped in her own hometown of Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

In just a few short weeks, the judge we all know we missed (for some reason or another) will be back in a center seat.

Paula Abdul, who made news when she decided to leave American Idol, will make her return to reality television on January 4. But this time, she'll be on CBS ... and she won't be focused on singing.

Although Live to Dance will differ from most of the dance competition programs out there -- the series welcomes contestants "in any age group" and from "any form of dancing" -- the show will still feature Abdul's unique ... style ... of ... judging. (Notice the pauses?)

Fans of both Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Kimmel might have noticed something unusual on their broadcasts recently: similar sketches.

Two weeks ago, Jimmy Kimmel Live was first to air a mashup of Sarah Palin's Alaska with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. (Watch the video after the jump.) That clip was unfortunately followed up two weeks later by a Conan sketch that closely resembed the first.

In response to the snafu, O'Brien issued an apology to the competition -- and made other revelations -- in the message above.
