But how do the American Idols pick their songs? Well, you see, they get a list every week. And we’ve got the same list of songs the Top 10 received for their R&B week performances, which will air live Tuesday. Will your favorite be one of the picks?

UPDATE: that the theme has been changed from Teen Idols to Billboard Hits, so it looks like we’ll be hearing a random collection of chart-toppers…again. Why did they change the theme? There’s no official word from the American Idol camp, but we’re guessing the original theme was just too ambiguous.

Rumor has it that the Top 11 will be singing to the theme of Teen Idols on Tuesday, something of an ambiguous category. Are we talking early Spears, Aguilera and Timberlake? Or are we looking more along the lines of ? We’ll just have to wait and see - or, dig up more spoilers!

Mildred Pierce: HBO has rounded up a few more key players for its upcoming adaptation of the 1941 novel. The miniseries - which already boasts Kate Winslet as the title character - will also feature Evan Rachel Wood (The Wrestler) as Mildred’s daughter, Veda, and Guy Pearce (The Hurt Locker) as Monty Beragon, Mildred’s love interest. Filming on the five-parter will begin next month.

Attendees at PaleyFest 2010’s Glee event got a number of juicy spoilers concerning the show’s remaining episodes.

What musical moments can fans look forward to when the program returns on April 13? A Madonna-themed episode, duets with Neil Patrick Harris…and even a Lady Gaga cover.

“She’s arguably the most important pop star right now,” co-creator Ryan Murphy said about the “Bad Romance” singer. The unnamed tune will appropriately be featured in an episode about the “power of theatricality.” (Let’s hope lesbian prison porn is not included.)
