Jennifer Lopez and Ryan SeacrestJennifer Lopez held a secret meeting with Ryan Seacrest amid rumors she is preparing to return to American Idol.

The 43-year-old singer met with the show's host at an industry office building in Beverly Hills on Friday, and was reportedly desperate to keep their reunion under the radar. An eyewitness told gossip website RadarOnline.com, "J.Lo was driven there by her regular driver. Ryan arrived simultaneously, and didn't look happy to have been spotted."

The "Dance Again" hitmaker looks set to take back her seat on the judging panel when Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj - who quit the talent show last week to focus on their music careers - leave. Jennifer Lopez on 'American Idol'Jennifer Lopez reportedly wants to return to American Idol. The 43-year-old star looks set to take back her seat on the judging panel when Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj - who quit the talent show last week to focus on their music careers - leave.

Her manager Benny Medina is said to have met with show bosses to discuss her potential comeback. "J.Lo's manager, Benny Medina, was in talks with FOX even before Mariah and Nicki announced their departures last week. Benny told FOX that she does indeed want to return. They're talking. Negotiations are in their infant stages, but they're underway to get her back to the judges' table," a source said.

FOX bosses are eager to claw back viewing figures after this season's finale saw ratings drop to 14.2 million, which is the lowest they've ever been since the show started in 2002. They believe a revamp of judges could be what is needed - including losing Keith Urban. "It's unlikely that this season's fourth judge, Keith Urban, will also stick around. The show needs an overhaul," an insider said.

KeshaKesha wants another season of her reality TV show.

The first six-episode run of the 26-year-old singer's show My Crazy Beautiful Life - which is based on footage filmed by her brother Lagan - has already aired on MTV and Kesha hopes it will return for a second series.

"We have so much amazing footage that didn't make it, you don't understand. [Lagan] followed me around for two-and-a-half years... There was one moment after a show I played, where I hit some guy in the eyeball with a piece of cauliflower. We just don't have enough hours to show all of it," she told MTV News.

While Kesha caused outrage in one episode which featured her drinking her own urine, which she claimed she had been told was healthy, she insists she has no regrets about airing the controversial footage. "I know you want me to say I wish I didn't drink my pee, but I'm happy I did. I don't go online because it gives me anxiety. I know everyone's always talking about 'How dare I fill-in-the-blank.' [But] It's my pee!" she explained.

Dina LohanDina Lohan was allegedly paid $50,000 to try to resolve her issues with her ex-husband Michael Lohan on TV.

The divorced couple, whose relationship has soured again after they briefly called a truce and had dinner together on Wednesday in Hollywood, reportedly got their daughter Lindsay's permission to appear together on a new TV show called The Test on Thursday, a conflict-resolution talk show due to air this autumn which uses lie detector and DNA tests to solve problems, and were well paid to take part.

A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the 26-year-old actress's mother received $50,000 to film the show. Michael was also allegedly paid to take part but his fee hasn't been disclosed. The insider said that Dina used the money to settle her debts from the family's Long Island home, which has been on the brink of foreclosure for months.

Dina and Michael's brief reconciliation ended during filming for the show on Thursday.

Simon CowellSimon Cowell says the idea of retirement makes him "want to jump off a bridge."

The Britain's Got Talent and X Factor boss also claims that he has never had his heart broken and thinks most people's marriages are boring. The 52-year-old star insists he isn't ready to retire and told the Telegraph newspaper, "I'd rather drop dead doing my job. The idea of getting up in the morning to play golf makes me want to jump off a bridge."

But Simon isn't worried about getting older because he believes there are advantages. "You don't get so insecure or competitive. And if you can grow old gracefully, you're fit and healthy and not bad looking," he explained.

Simon - who called off his engagement to make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy in early 2012 - was most recently linked to Carmen Electra and is still close to his ex-girlfriends Jackie Sinclair, Sinitta and Terri Seymour but doesn't think he will ever marry: "Well it worries me because I've seen it destroy people. And I couldn't think of anything worse than being in an unhappy marriage. Actually, being on my own is the best thing in the world."

Mariah CareyMariah Carey has quit American Idol.

The 43-year-old singer has confirmed she will leave the show after just one season in order to undertake a world tour following the success of her latest single "Beautiful."

Mariah retweeted a message from her PR representatives which read, "W/ global success of ''#Beautiful'' (#1 in 30+ countries so far) @MariahCarey confirms world tour & says goodbye 2 Idol http://mariahcarey.com (sic)."

Along with the tour, Mariah has a number of other projects this year. "The rest of this year is jam-packed with Mariah putting the finishing touches on her much anticipated forthcoming album, headlining the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular and appearing in Lee Daniels's The Butler, opening in August," her representative said.

Mariah is the second judge to confirm their departure from the American Idol panel after Randy Jackson, who was the only original judge remaining on the show recently revealed he made the decision not to return next season because he wants to focus on his other interests. "Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on American Idol I have decided it is time to leave after this season," he says. "I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It's been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures."

Keith UrbanKeith Urban has no idea if he is returning to American Idol next season.

The 45-year-old Australian country singer - who is married to actress Nicole Kidman and has two daughters Sunday Rose, four, and two-year-old Faith Margaret - has hinted that he hopes to be invited back to the show's judging panel because he loves working with new artists.

"I did as much as I could in the environment we had. I love artists. I love the beginnings of artists when all they've got is raw talent and nothing else. I have no official information of anything. I'm pretty much in the same boat as everybody else here with the rumors that have been floating around. I don't know anything more about what's happening next season. It was like this before I signed on... so it's not unusual for the Idol folks to be in this place of figuring out what they want to do, then they always pull it together."

Jennifer Hudson is the only celebrity confirmed for next season. Current judges Nicki Minaj and Randy Jackson have already confirmed they are leaving the show, and Mariah Carey is reportedly not planning to return either.

Kevin and Danielle JonasKevin Jonas says his reality show can be like therapy.

The Jonas Brothers singer tied the knot with Danielle Deleasa in December 2009 and their relationship is chronicled in TV show Married to Jonas, and he is thankful the program gives the couple the opportunity to review their points of view after a fight.

"The other night we had an argument. Sometimes you say things you don't necessarily mean or can be misconstrued. All you want is for the person to be with you. It came across as me never wanting her to get a job and that I think her place is in the house, and that wasn't my opinion at all. It had to do with me wanting her to be on the road with me. It was a selfish moment for sure, but at the end of the day you look back and think, 'Wow.' Don't you wish you had that option in a relationship to be able to watch back your arguments so you can see who was right and who was wrong? [Can it be like therapy?] Yeah!"

Jennifer Hudson and Kelly ClarksonFormer American Idol contestants Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson are set to return to the show as judges. Kelly - who won the first season in 2002 - and Jennifer - who placed seventh in 2004 - have been approached by producers to join the panel of the new series after they decided to replace Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban. Veteran judge Randy Jackson recently quit the show and bosses want to return to a three person format, with Clay Aiken and Adam Lambert among those who have been approached to take the final spot.

"Nothing is final yet, it's 95 per cent there. The alum panel will be Fox's attempt to reignite ratings by bringing back Idol faces that the fans care about. It's Idol stars guiding the next generation," a Fox source told E! News.
