Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer Shocked by Co-Star’s Meltdown

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, CBS, Gossip,
Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer were shocked by Angus T. Jones' meltdown.
The 19-year-old actor - who stars on Two And A Half Men with Ashton and John - launched a tirade against the sitcom calling it "filth" in a video with his church pastor and while Jon was surprised, he felt living through former co-star Charlie Sheen's falling out with creator Chuck Lorre left him better prepared for it than Ashton.
"It is surreal to be part of several internet s**t storms. When the latest one happened Ashton came up to me and he looked like he had seen a ghost and he was like, 'Did you hear about Angus?' and I was like, 'He is ok?' He said, 'Sort of,' and he showed me the video. And as I said having become a veteran of the internet s**t storm afterward I just looked at Ashton and said, 'Well do you think he still wants to go in on the crew gift?' It's just been one after the other. My life has taken a lot of strange turns. Mostly I'm just glad everybody is still alive," Jon said.

Emily Deschanel Wants New Girl Cameo with Sister Zooey

Emily Deschanel wants to star with her sister Zooey in New Girl. The Bones actress has revealed she is planning to make a cameo appearance in her sibling's hit sitcom about hapless 20-something Jess Day, and would jump at the chance to join her on set as soon as she has some time off.
"Zooey played my cousin on an episode of Bones a couple of seasons ago and we've talked about me coming in to do New Girl. We shoot on the same lot, so if we weren't so busy it might be really easy to swing on by and play a part. It's hard to get a few hours off, let alone a couple of days to do her show. I watch every episode as soon as I can when I'm not working," she said.
Because the pair play polar opposite characters in their respective shows - Emily plays serious-minded forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennen - people assume they are different in real life, but the 36-year-old star thinks they share the same core values from growing up in the same family.

"I figured the character would go back and visit everybody, but he wouldn't do it on camera at this point. I think he had grown past the idea of being in the documentary, that was my take on it... I just thought, yeah, he'd go back and visit, but he wouldn't want the camera crew to be documenting it."

Adam Brody, who guest stars in House of Lies alongside the blonde beauty, has revealed he initially found it strange filming steamy scenes for the dramatic comedy while she is expecting her first child but that she helped him to feel more comfortable.
The 33-year-old actor, who is dating former Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester, told EOnline.com, "She was very pregnant. I like to say it was sort of a three-person scene. Melissa McCarthy to Host ‘SNL’

Melissa McCarthy will host Saturday Night Live for the second time on April 6.
The Identity Thief star - whose weight recently came under fire by a US movie critic - will return to present the NBC comedy sketch show for the second time in two years after winning rave reviews for her series debut in October 2011.
The 42-year-old Emmy-winning actress - who began her career doing sketch comedy with the Los Angeles improv troupe Groundlings - previously reunited with her Bridesmaids co-star Kristen Wiig on the show for a hilarious skit about an inappropriate office worker who sexually harasses a co-worker played by Jason Sudeikis.
Melissa has kept a relatively low profile since veteran film critic Rex Reed trashed her role in Identity Thief last month calling her "cacophonous" and "tractor-sized" and blasting her as "a gimmick comedian who has devoted her short career to being obese and obnoxious with equal success."

The Following has been renewed for a second season. The serial killer drama - which stars Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy - has been picked up by Fox thanks to its high ratings for season one.
"From the very beginning, we felt Kevin Williamson and Marcos Siega had created a high-quality, edge-of-your-seat drama that could break from the pack, and it is exciting to see the audience responding. Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy have given us two of the most compelling characters on television and the entire cast is incredible. I'm delighted to have this thrill ride continue on Fox for another season," Fox entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly in a statement.
Fox has also renewed comedies New Girl, The Mindy Project and Raising Hope, with Mr. Reilly adding, "These shows are creatively vibrant, they have established a loyal and passionate audience and they will continue to define and grow the Fox comedy brand next season and beyond."

Chloe Sevigny Cast in ‘The Mindy Project’

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, FOX, Announcements, News,
Chloe Sevigny is set to guest star on The Mindy Project.
The 38-year-old actress will portray Danny Castellano's (Chris Messina) ex wife Christina, a war photographer who makes an unexpected return to his life in a bid to give their relationship another chance. According to E! Online, Chloe will make her debut on the 22nd episode of the first season of the show, which has just been renewed for a second series.
Last year Chloe played Mia, a pre-op transgender hitman, in TV series Hit & Miss, but she admitted she was concerned that she wouldn't be able to do the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community justice in the role. "I was worried people would be angry that they didn't cast a real person who was transitioning. I asked why they didn't, and the producers said they didn't find the right person. It's a big responsibility toward that community, and I wanted to do them right," she said.
The Mindy Project currently airs Tuesday nights on FOX.
