On Gear Live: 2024 Nissan Z Nismo Review

Roseanne BarrRoseanne Barr is going to back on TV thanks to Lifetime.

The cable channel is doing a Roseanne-centric reality series based on the comedienne’s efforts to run a macadamia nut farm. And we’re not making any of that up.

The 40-acre farm is located on Hawaii’s Big Island. Roseanne will be working with her boyfriend Johnny Argent and her son Jake in a “take-no-prisoners approach in shaping a Utopian dream for herself and her loved ones.”

And their dream, we guess, is to run a nut farm. To each their own.

Josh Henderson on 90210Larry Hagman as J. R. Ewing on Dallas

TNT’s Dallas (which is a bit like The CW’s 90210 in that it’s a continuation, not a remake) has named its new J. R. Ewing. Josh Henderson, whose acting credits include appearances on Desperate Housewives and CSI, will play the son of the first J. R. (Larry Hagman).

Hagman will return as the family bad guy on the series. Patrick Duffy (Bobby Ewing) and Linda Gray (Sue Ellen) will also reprise their roles. Jordana Brewster has been cast as Elena, the new J. R.’s love interest.

And, we're already interested. Two J. R.s? The new Dallas could be worth watching. For those of you who haven't seen it, Dallas ran on CBS for 13 years. It detailed the daily workings of a family involved in the oil business. It was named as one of Time magazine's "100 Best TV Shows of All-TIME" and remains famous for the "Who Shot J. R.?" cliffhanger.

Omri Katz played John Ross Ewing in the original series and the two successive TV movies.

… but, the History Channel still isn’t going to touch it.

The much-talked-about Kennedys miniseries, which was created by the History Channel and (allegedly) pulled off TV by the Kennedy family, will make it to US households after all. Mmm … some of them, anyway.

No major networks were bold enough to accept the series, but the cable ReelzChannel will begin showing The Kennedys starting on April 3rd.

If you’ve never heard of that channel, you aren’t alone. The website has a helpful locator so you can find out how to get it ... and then, you’ll finally have the chance to see Katie Holmes as Jackie Kennedy. Honestly, it’s hard to hold a grudge against the Kennedy clan for trying to put a stop to that.

Jersey Shore Season 3 Cast

The cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore is about to become representative of Italian Americans to actual Italians. For Season 4, the cable channel is sending its reality stars to the Old World.

Why the switch? “Europe is a fresh spin on a show that continues to reach new heights for us,” said MTV programming vice president Chris Linn.

Lucy Lawless in Spartacus

"Funnily enough, no. You’re taped up and anatomically incorrect – there’s no accidental sex happening on set, but all the same, it’s really exposing. Especially for the women. I think females are hardwired to protect that side of yourself, so that has never gotten easier. But nudity becomes easier. You just don’t notice it after a while, but sex – no. And not one actor has come in and found it a breeze."
