Two and a Half Men fans needn’t fear for the future of their show: Charlie Sheen says it’s coming back. And in case you haven’t heard, the man’s got “tiger’s blood,” so we’re pretty sure he’s in a position to make this sort of statement.
Charlie Sheen gave the news to Wired 96.5 in Philadelphia while speaking with personalities Chio and Shila. “Absolutely the gig’s coming back, I have absolute faith in that.” And who are we to argue with absolute faith?
“My super powers are blowing it up completely,” Sheen continued. “I think we’re winning this morning.” Well, when you put it that way…

Survivor: Russell Eliminated, Redemption to Follow?

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, CBS, Survivor, Gossip, Video,
Reality vet Russell Hanz has just tasted the sting of elimination for the first time... and, it’s kinda sweet. The three-time Survivor cast member alienated most of his tribe (Zapetera) early in the Survivor: Redemption Island competition, and for once he didn’t manage to escape a heated tribal council on Wednesday night.
After winning two challenges in a row, the six-strong alliance (which includes current immunity idol holder Ralph) in the Zapetera tribe decided to throw the joint reward/immunity challenge. Led by Rob Mariano, the competing Ometepe tribe marched quickly to victory.

Charlie Sheen Rant Cancels Two and Half Men Production

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, CBS, Cancellations, Gossip, Rumors,
Charlie Sheen isn’t finished with the Two and Half Men producers -- not by a long shot. The troubled actor engaged in a well-publicized rant against the minds behind his CBS show in which he called Chuck Lorre a “stupid, stupid little man,” along with a few other things.
CBS immediately canceled production of the show for the reminder of the season, and potentially all eternity. Sheen, who is currently in the Bahamas, turned to TMZ again to respond to the news. In an open letter, he said Lorre “tried to use his words to judge and attempt to degrade me.”

Survivor: Redemption Island Premieres with Twists, Idols and Villains

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, CBS, Survivor, Gossip, Video,
Survivor: Redemption Island began with 16 contestants on a helicopter. Each new face hides a different personality, only a few of which began to emerge by the end of the season premiere. The new cast was dropped on the Nicaraguan beach, where show host Jeff Probst waited to greet them.
There was no lengthy sorting procedure -- each already knew to which tribe they belonged. Just as they formed their groups, Probst introduced a surprise in the form of two additional contestants. The helicopter arrived to deposit two of the show’s most well-known villains, “Boston Rob” Mariano and Russell Hanz, on the beach. They drew buffs to find which team they would lead. Russell ended up with the Zapatera group, receiving several groans. Rob was received with squeals and smiles by the Ometepe tribe.

Survivor’s Redemption Island: Rob vs. Russell, Ver. 2

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, CBS, Survivor, Video,
The 22nd season of Survivor will reunite two of the show’s most infamous villains -- “Boston Rob” Mariano and Russell Hantz. The two will be pitted against each other on opposing teams populated with 16 Survivor newbies.
Survivor: Redemption Island is set in Nicaragua and brings a brand-new twist to the well-known reality game: eliminated players get a second chance. Players who are voted off will not leave in this version of the game. Instead, they'll be exiled to Redemption Island. On the island, they'll have to survive until another contestant has been voted off to join them. The two will engage in a duel for supremacy, with the winner returning to the game.

Two and a Half Men Production on Hiatus

UPDATE: The network is ordering more episodes of Rules of Engagement and Mike & Molly to make up for Men.
Two and a Half Men's hiatus will drag on longer than previously scheduled.
Although production on the CBS comedy was set to resume Monday, the fate of the hit series is now up in the air. One day after Charlie Sheen was hospitalized for stomach pains, the actor voluntarity admitted himself into a rehab facility.
"We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision," the network, Warner Bros. TV and show creator Chuck Lorre said in a joint statement.

Ratings: Paula Abdul’s Dance Against Cowell-Less American Idol

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, CBS, FOX, American Idol, Ratings,
Wednesday night was epic for number-crunchers.
Paula Abdul’s new reality series Live to Dance competed for the same viewers in the same time slot as reality standard American Idol -- which no longer has Simon Cowell behind it. So, which reality series fared better?
Sadly, Abdul didn’t do too well. Live to Dance scored about 1 million in the key 18-49 demographic, compared to Idol’s 9.7.
The reality juggernaut is still down among its target audience, continuing its steady decline. But Idol isn't in serious trouble yet . . . and the same can't be said for Paula's Dance act. In the same time slot last year, sitcom reruns managed to pull down more viewers than Abdul’s reality contest.

Sarah Michelle Gellar Returning to TV

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, Prime Time, CBS, News,
From bloodthirsty vampires to dangerous mafia hitmen.
Former Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar will return to the small screen with the new CBS pilot Ringer, a drama where she’ll star as a quasi-fugitive hiding out from the mob.
And if that doesn’t excite you, maybe we ought to tell you this: there’s two of her.
Gellar will play a twin who has assumed her sister’s identity, and it seems the split-screen shot of the two of them standing shoulder-to-shoulder is inevitable.
