Melanie BrownMelanie Brown is set to appear on Dancing with the Stars: All Stars.

The former Spice Girl has been asked by bosses of the ABC show to come back to the ballroom and compete against other celebrity dancers for the mirror-ball trophy. Mel and her professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy came second on the fifth season of the program in 2007.

"Mel absolutely wants to come back and take another crack at winning the coveted mirror-ball trophy. Mel and Maksim had great chemistry together and they definitely push each other's buttons, which only makes their dances more intense and fiery. Maksim has never won the trophy before, it's a constant thorn in his side, and he knows his best chance of winning is going to be with Mel," a source told RadarOnline.com.

Eva Longoria on the set of Desperate HousewivesEva Longoria has been stealing from the Desperate Housewives set. The 37-year-old actress wanted mementos from the eight years on the series - which will come to an end this month - but admitted bosses had to stop her from taking more items and she is trying to conceal what she has already taken.

"I have stolen some stuff but I'm not going to tell you exactly what because they'll ask for it back. They've already told me, 'Stop stealing things.' I don't want them to know what it is that I have stashed away. What I really want are the Warhols but I haven't found them!" she said.

Eva has admitted the read-through of the final script of the series turned into a "crying fest" because she and her co-stars Brenda Strong, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross were overwhelmed with emotion: "It was a crying fest. Brenda couldn't get through her voice-overs. I couldn't get through my dialogue."

"We sat there crying, hugging and reminiscing," Felicity added.

"It was a sweet, private moment for us," Marcia said.

Donald Driver on Dancing with the StarsDonald Driver topped the leaderboard on Dancing with the Stars last night. The NFL star and his professional partner Peta Murgatroyd wowed the judges during rock week, with their paso doble to Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze" - which saw the sportsman dance topless - earning a total of 27 points.

Madonna's perfume line, Truth or DareMadonna's perfume commercial is too racy for TV. The "Girls Gone Wild" singer's new 30-second black-and-white ad for her Truth or Dare scent have been deemed inappropriate for Disney-owned channel ABC with bosses ordering that shots of her breasts and butt be digitally altered to cover them up.

"ABC viewed the ad [and] came back with a list of changes. They say they want her bra digitally made bigger, and to extend higher to cover more of her chest, and her corset longer to cover more of her bottom. ABC also wants to cut another suggestive scene where Madonna writhes around," a source the New York Post's Page Six.

However, even once the changes have been made, channel bosses have ruled the ad (seen after the jump) can only run after the 9pm watershed, with the exception of daytime show The View.

"ABC has requested some changes be made to the content of the Truth or Dare perfume commercial," another source said.

"I gave it everything I had, but I blew it yesterday and it cost me, unfortunately. Hopefully I get to the do the jive the last week here. I look forward to coming back and I wish everybody good luck. It was an amazing experience. I just wish that it had lasted longer," she said.

Jimmy KimmelJimmy Kimmel is to host the Emmy Awards for the first time.

The talk show host has been unveiled as presenter of the prestigious ceremony, which honors the best in television and takes place on September 23.

Referring to actor Eddie Murphy - who pulled out of hosting this year's Academy Awards - Jimmy said, "I hope to be able to do for the Emmys this year what Eddie Murphy did for the Oscars."

The telecast of the prestigious ceremony will be executive produced by Don Mischer for the 12th time. The director and producer is "thrilled" to be working on the awards show again. "We love television and look forward to working with the television academy and ABC in creating a show that is fast-paced, humorous, unpredictable, and at times irreverent, but clearly celebratory of our incredible industry," he said in a statement.

Jimmy has previously hosted the American Music Awards and the ESPY Awards and is set to host the White House Correspondents' dinner next month. The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre.
