As hard as it is for me to admit, it looks like my darling Pushing Daisies will soon be pushed out the door. Despite an Obama bump for its last outing, the show couldn’t maintain the audience. Yesterday’s episode even performed lower than the last unassisted show. CBS had a good evening though. Season high numbers for the two comedies gave the network wins in both categories last night.

8pm

• Bones (10.7 million, 3.1/9 in 18-49) easily won its hour.
• The New Adventures of Old Christine (2.5/7) and Gary Unmarried (2.7/7) both attracted 8.1 million.
• Knight Rider (5.1 million, 1.5/4) lost 200,000.
• Pushing Daisies (4.9 million, 1.7/5) was off 1.9 million from the last episode.
• The finale of America’s Next Top Model (4.8 million, 2.3/6) had it’s best audience in about a year.

9pm

• Criminal Minds (16.4 million, 4.3/11 in 18-49) improved by 1.6 million.
• Private Practice (7.1 million, 2.4/6) skidded by 2.4 million.
• House* (5.7 million, 2.1/5) gave up 500,000.
• Life (5.3 million, 1.7/4) was down 500,000.
• Stylista (2.2 million, 1.0/3) picked up another 1/2 million.

10pm

• The 100th episode of CSI: NY (3.8/10 in 18-49) registered 14 million.
• Law & Order (7.6 million, 2.1/6) let another 300,000 go.
• Dirty Sexy Money (5.6 million, 1.7/5) slipped by 600,000.
