Wednesday Ratings: FOX Has Stellar Evening

Last night, American Idol turned in its best Wednesday numbers since its debut back in January. The show did better than all the other network averages combined.
8pm
- American Idol (28.7 million, 11.1/27 in 18-49) grew by 4 million from last week.
- Deal or No Deal (8.9 million, 2.1/5) added another 2 million to its total.
- Wife Swap (5.6 million, 2.1/5) did slightly better than a week ago.
- Big Brother (5.2 million, 1.9/5) was looking kind of small.
- America’s Next Top Model (1.9/5) debuted to 3.8 million.

- Law & Order: Criminal Intent (7.7 million, 1.9/4 in 18-49) took a 1.4 million hit.
- Criminal Minds* (7.3 million, 1.9/5) saw 400,000 drop off.
- About 6 million saw the Supernanny (2.3/6) tend to Wendy Wilson’s children.
- Girlicious* (1.9 million, 0.8/2) lost a good chunk of its lead-in.
10pm
- Law & Order (10.9 million, 3.1/8 in 18-49) arrested 700,000 more than last week.
- CSI: Miami* (7.4 million, 2.0/5) was off by 300,000.
- Cashmere Mafia (4.8 million, 1.6/4) sunk another 500,000.
