Two new episodes of Chuck couldn’t help NBC in the ratings race.  When the smoke cleared, CBS was left standing with the viewers while FOX was holding tight to the demos.

• Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (3.2/9 in 18-49) averaged 10.3 million over its two hours.
• The last new episode of Ugly Betty (2.9/8) closed up shop with 8.9 million viewers.
• CSI: NY* (8.6 million, 1.8/5) was down 500,000 from last week’s Trace.
• The first hour of Chuck (2.7/7) debuted with 6.9 million.
• Smallville* (2.1 million, 0.8/2) lost 600,000 from one week ago.

9pm

• Fresh or not, CSI* (13.3 million, 3.3/8 in 18-49) was still the most-watched show of Thursday evening.
• Donald Trump didn’t make any gains with this week’s Celebrity Apprentice (8.9 million, 3.7/10).
• Grey’s Anatomy* (7.2 million, 2.5/6) sliced off 200,000.
• Supernatural* (1.8 million, 0.7/2) saw a 600,000 decline.

10pm

• Without a Trace* (11.8 million, 2.8/8 in 18-49) lost 1.5 million of its lead-in.
• The final Chuck (7 million, 2.9/8) was down 2 million from last week’s ER.
• Big Shots (5 million, 1.9/5) saw a very little bump.
