Thursday Ratings: CBS Reclaims the Evening

Thanks to original programming, CBS returned to familiar territory. The network was once again a force on Thursday nights.
8pm
- Survivor: Micronesia (3.9/11 in 18-49) returned to 12.8 million.
- The first episode of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (9.7 million, 2.8/8) had a nice 1.3 million bump.
- About 7.5 million saw Paris Hilton’s cameo on My Name is Earl (3.1/9).
- Miss Guided (4.6 million, 1.5/4) had 1.2 million absentees.
- Smallville* (2.4 million 0.9/3) settled for 1.4 million less than last week.

- Approximately 20.4 million (5.8/15 in 18-49) welcomed back the CSI crew.
- Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (10.2 million, 3.0/8) grew in its second hour.
- A block of The Office* (2.4/6) drew 4.8 million.
- Lost* (4.1 million, 1.3/4) saw 1.4 million leave the island.
- Supernatural* (1.8 million, 0.7/2) lost part of its lead-in.
10pm
- Without a Trace (15.4 million, 4.1/11 in 18-49) had no problem winning the hour.
- Eli Stone (5.2 million, 1.6/4) decreased by 1.3 million.
- The last block of The Office* (4.3 million, 2.3/6) slid by 500,000.
