ABC found success in the demos thanks to Lost‘s two-week winning streak.  Meanwhile, the debut of Survivor: Micronesia helped CBS with the viewers.

• Approximately 13.9 million saw the 16th season of Survivor: Micronesia (4.7/13 in 18-49).
• Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (9.5 million, 2.7/7) actually bested Howie Mandel.
• Deal or No Deal (9.3 million, 2.6/7) found itself in a rare third place.
• Lost* (6.5 million, 2.2/6) sunk 7 million from last week.
• Smallville (4.0 million, 1.8/5) remained even with its last outing.

9pm

• Lost (6.5/16 in 18-49) brought 15.2 million along on its crazy ride.
• CSI* (11.9 million, 3.1/8) repeated last week’s numbers.
• Celebrity Apprentice (8.7 million, 3.2/8) gained about 900,000.
• Don’t Forget the Lyrics* (8.6 million, 3.1/8) saw a 1.4 million decline.
• Supernatural (2.7 million, 1.1/3) was down just a tad.

10pm

• Without a Trace* (10.2 million, 2.7/7) beat out two originals.
• Eli Stone (9.0 million, 3.4/9 in 18-49) slipped 2.6 million from its debut.
• Despite endless publicity, Lipstick Jungle (7.5 million, 2.9/8) fell in third.
