Last night’s Grammys telecast failed to strike a chord with viewers. (Only two other broadcasts in Grammy history have achieved lower numbers.) Regardless, the awards show still gave CBS a decisive win in the viewers and demos.
7pm
- About 13 million watched the Obama/Clinton interviews on 60 Minutes (2.5/7 in 18-49).
- America’s Funniest Home Videos (3.0/8) tickled 9.6 million.
- The last hour of the Pro Bowl game (3.2/9) scored 8.9 million.
- American Gladiators* (1.4/4) averaged 3.6 million over two hours.
- CW Now (700,000, 0.3/1) made an effort.

8pm
- An exhausting Grammy Awards (18.2 million, 6.9/16 in 18-49) was still the evening’s top draw.
- Miley Cyrus helped Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (5.5/12) draw 15.8 million.
- The Simpsons* (3.0/7) humored 6.9 million; King of the Hill (6.1 million, 2.8/6) had slightly less.
- Everybody Hates Chris* (0.4/1) averaged 1.1 million over two episodes; Aliens in America (1.2 million, 0.4/1) did just a tad better.
9pm
- Approximately 8.2 million checked out the 100 Most Outrageous Moments of All Time (2.8/6 in 18-49).
- A full-hour of Family Guy* (3.3/8) clocked in at 6.9 million.
- Girlfriends* (900,000, 0.3/1) and The Game* (900,000, 0.4/1) turned in nearly identical performances.
10pm
- Brothers & Sisters (3.1/8 in 18-49) returned to 8.6 million viewers. *denotes repeat
