Sunday Ratings: Extreme Makeover Serves ABC Nicely

ABC won another Sunday night - and surprisingly Oprah wasn’t the network’s biggest contributor.
8pm
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (12 million, 4.1/11 in 18-49) was the night’s top show.
- Dateline (1.9/6) averaged 8 million over two hours.
- Both The Simpsons* (6.6 million, 3.0/9) and King of the Hill (6 million, 2.8/7) saw losses.
- Big Brother (6.3 million, 2.3/6) was down slightly.
- Everybody Hates Chris (1.1 million, 0.5/1) and Aliens in America (900,000, 0.4/1) also took small blows.

- Oprah’s Big Give (9.7 million, 3.6/9 in 18-49) sunk another 2 million since last week.
- Cold Case* (8.1 million, 2.0/5) and Law & Order* (7.2 million, 2.0/5) were both up by 200,000.
- Family Guy* (6.7 million, 3.4/9) and Unhitched (4.4 million, 2.3/6) saw losses of 800,000.
- Girlfriends* (900,000, 0.4/1) and The Game* (1 million, 0.4/1) were equal in the demos.
10pm
- Law & Order: SVU* (2.2/6 in 18-49) won its hour with 7.7 million.
- Here Come the Newlyweds (7 million, 2.9/8) lost as much as its lead-in.
- Dexter (6.4 million, 1.8/5) remained fairly steady with last week.
