NBC was the only network to bring all-new material the table last night. Unfortunately, all that effort only gave the Peacock network a win in the demos. (CBS was the winner with the viewers.)
8pm
- Million Dollar Password (8.3 million, 1.5/5 in 18-49) easily won its hour.
- NBC‘s coverage of the U.S. Olympic Trials (2.0/6) attracted 6.24 million gymnastics fans.
- A two-hour block of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition* (1.9/6) averaged 6.21 million.
- The Simpsons* hour (4.1 million, 1.9/6) was up 400,000.
- Everybody Hates Chris* (700,000, 0.2/1) and Aliens in America* (680,000, 0.2/1) pulled in similar numbers.

Comments:
I like the coverage of the trials for NBC, I enjoy watching them and I think NBC is a great network to be covering them. Sunday nights are quite “dry” now that there aren’t that many new shows on.
