Sunday Ratings: CBS and NBC Share the Spoils

Chances are if you air anything semi-original on Sundays, you’ll come out on top. Last night, Big Brother helped CBS with the viewers while a Nicolas Cage film boosted NBC in the demos.
8pm
- Big Brother 10 (5.8 million, 2.2/7 in 18-49) had the night’s best demos.
- NBC‘s airing National Treasure (1.7/5) unearthed 5 million viewers.
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (1.4/4) averaged 4.6 million over two hours.
- The Simpsons* (1.4/5) racked up 3.3 million; American Dad* (1.4/5) drew 3.2 million.
- Everybody Hates Chris* (665,000, 0.2/1) and Aliens in America* (548,000, 0.2/1) did the same in the demos.

- Approximately 5.4 million watched a repeat of Cold Case* (1.3/4 in 18-49).
- Family Guy* (1.8/6) made 3.9 million chuckle; a second showing of American Dad* (3.1 million, 1.4/4) did about the same as the first.
- The Game* (722,000, 0.3/1) and Girlfriends* (764,000, 0.3/1) also repeated demo numbers.
10pm
- CSI: NY* (6.1 million, 1.5/4 in 18-49) was the night’s most-watched program.
- Desperate Housewives* (1.0/3) attracted 3.1 million.
