Sunday Ratings: ABC Faces Weak Competition

Repurposed shows on NBC and CBS helped ABC win its 11th Sunday in a row.
8pm
- The season finale of Cold Case (11.57 million, 2.4/7 in 18-49) had a narrow victory.
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (11.46 million, 4.1/12) was a close second in viewers.
- The Simpsons (6.2 million, 3.0/9) dipped by 1.5 million; King of the Hill (5.7 million, 2.7/8) scraped off 800,000.
- Monk* (4.1 million, 0.9/3) sunk another 1.7 million.
- Everybody Hates Chris (1.2 million, 0.4/1) and Aliens in America (1 million, 0.4/1) remained steady with last week.

9pm
- Desperate Housewives (16.6 million, 6.2/16 in 18-49) picked up another 200,000.
- Family Guy (7.7 million, 3.9/10) slipped 800,000; American Dad (6.2 million, 3.1/8) had a 500,000 decrease.
- Psych* (3.8 million, 1.0/2) retained most of its lead-in.
- The Game (1.4 million, 0.6/2) had a 400,000 bump; Girlfriends* (1.3 million, 0.5/1) did about the same.
10pm
- Brothers & Sisters (3.9/10 in 18-49) won the hour with 10.8 million viewers.
- Dexter* (1.6/5) averaged 6.4 million over two hours.
- Law & Order: SVU* (1.8/5) closed the night with 6.3 million.
