A Lot Of Dough For Hell’s Kitchen Cook
Gordon Ramsay won a libel action on Tuesday against a British newspaper that accused him of faking scenes on his reality television show in the UK. Reportedly in November, The Evening Standard newspaper claimed that parts of Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares was rigged to make average kitchens look like hell holes and cast a bogus chef in one episode. The newspaper’s lawyer, Adam Cannon, said the Evening Standard now accepted that the claims were untrue. The newspaper’s publisher agreed to print an apology and pay £75 000 (if my conversion is right that’s under $200,000) in damages to Ramsay and the makers of his show.
