Real Housewives Takes on Atlanta
Apparently ‘real housewives’ exist everywhere…
An announcement made by Bravo today had me intrigued yet thoroughly confused at the same time. Just two months after teasing us with news about The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the cable channel has already made plans to dissect the ladies of another city: Atlanta. Does this mean Jersey is no longer a go?
According to the network’s press release, the series will follow “five women from Atlanta’s social elite from NBA and NFL wives to sassy single moms as they juggle their burgeoning careers and busy home lives with the whirl of the south’s hottest city.”

Over the series’ seven episodes, we will be introduced to a wife of a Cleveland Cavalier, an aspiring country singer, a career-oriented NFL wife, a “social butterfly” who donates her time to foundations, and a single mother with an “entrepreneurial spirit.” Blah, blah, blah…do they hate each other or what?
Bravo will offer a 30-minute preview of these ladies from ‘Hotlanta’ on July 30 @ midnight. A premiere date for the regular episodes has not yet been announced.

Wow.. seriously? Those shows are actually popular enough to have more of those pathetic shows? My God!
Haha, Kathleen! I think, yes! I don’t really watch Real Housewives but I have seen a couple of episodes and they are pretty interesting and fun. The stories are quite unique with each and every woman and it should be interesting why they chose Atlanta…
