Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Cut from Season 2
If you thought DeShawn Snow was the least memorable character of the last Real Housewives reunion, you weren’t the only one. DeShawn, the wife of Cleveland Cavalier’s Eric Snow, has just been told that she will not be returning for Season 2.
In a recent interview with Essence.com, Snow says she just learned this week that her run on Bravo had come to an end. This news came as a surprise because the mother of three had just been in talks with the producers of The Real Housewives of Atlanta back in December.

“[One of the producers] called and said that I was “too human for a circus show” and that because the show did so well, they are about to pump up the drama and they didn’t think that I would fit in. He gave me an example, saying that during the reunion when I found out what a few of the other ladies said about me, they were expecting me to say more, but I’m not the type to go “television” and start acting crazy because somebody’s talking about me. I’m fine with the decision. It wasn’t my decision. They let me go and there are no hard feelings. I am thankful for the opportunity.”
So is there any truth to the reports that Tameka Foster - Usher’s wife - will be filling DeShawn’s spot next season? “Yes, I heard that, but I don’t know. I wouldn’t say that they are replacing me because they didn’t think I was real enough or too real enough for the show, so I doubt they are going to bring in someone who has a similar personality as mine,” Snow said.
While I’m sorry to that hear that DeShawn will be gone in Round 2, the prospect of having Tameka around is very exciting. I’d love to hear her thoughts about Kim Zolciak’s singing. And what about her and Sheree Whitfield? Could you imagine what would happen if you put the two of them in a room together?
