The phrase “sex tape” usually calls to mind images of a short-haired Paris Hilton being videotaped by Rick Salomon. Or, you may think of the famous Pamela Anderson/Tommy Lee tape, which has been glorified in E! countdowns and talked about by comedians. Maybe it was only a matter of time before Rick and Pamela hooked up. And now, the wait is over. According to the Clark County Marriage License Bureau, Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon obtained a marriage license in Las Vegas over the weekend. The license is good for one year from the date issued, and so far there’s no word on when the upcoming nuptials may take place. Anderson’s publicist hasn’t commented on the license or impending marriage.

After the kafuffle that broke out between Pam’s exes, Tommy Lee and Kid Rock, the former TV star went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about the new man in her life. Anderson did not, however, name any names. She did say her new mantoy was a pro card player, and the two met during a high-stakes strip poker game. Pam paid off her poker debt with sexual favors and fell in love. Now, that’s classy. Anderson said to DeGeneres “It’s so romantic. It’s romance.” Sounds like romance to me. Cards, chips, poker, and sexual favors in a high-stakes strip game. It’s got all the makings of a great movie. For the porn industry.

If the two follow through on the license and tie the knot, it will be Anderson’s third marriage. The 40-year-old actress married Tommy Lee in 1995 and divorced him three years (and two kids) later. Her relationship with rocker Kid Rock began in 2003, led to a wedding in 2006, and divorce was filed four months later. Maybe they didn’t play enough poker together. Salomon, on the other hand, famously dated heiress Paris Hilton. Their affair ended his 2002 marriage to Shannen Doherty, and his relationship with Paris is known for only one legacy: the famous sex tape One Night in Paris.
